How’s the fuel efficiency though? No point on saving 20 grams in the stove if you have to carry 50 more grams of fuel.
"…at just twenty-six ounces it weighs less than one ounce."
Also – Five quarters are shown weighing twenty-eight ounces.
Me – 🤪
awful stories with this thing everyone should do major research on this. the comments here are to nice.
I got so confused by the weight thing and genuinely thought for a second that that's how ounces work. Like it's some sort of fraction thing or maybe there's 2 measurements called ounces. Seemed reasonable for americans.
26 ounces, LOL
I love this little stove, every now and then I need to bend the arms back into place, sometimes I break it. But I can but like 6 of them before I spend as much as I would have for something like the Pocket rocket.
Bought this and it works great! I’d definitely recommend picking up a wind screen though. Anyone have any suggestions for which one to get to go with this stove?
Says about $16. Affiliate link shows $33. Not paying double.
bro be thinking of them ouncces while creating lol
It's lighter because it's titanium…. and it doesn't have a piezo. So you carry the extra weight with a lighter. But hey 16 bucks isn't bad.
Well now its 32 dollars …
Used it near the beach with light wind. One of the arms softened and got super bent.
Never cared about how much they weigh if they all are below 120 grams, plus u will never carry it alone, u need the cartridge with it
Mine died after using it 4 times. Junk.
been using this for 4+ years now – pairs well w a 100g canister!
Does anyone have a concern in which the base overheats? That it will transfer the heat to the canister and will explode?
Have one. Works great.
Work great for me, never have problem with this stove for 5 years.
This stove has been around for a
It’s a good deal for the price, but if you’re going to be depending on this for your life
Spend the money and buy a Soto Windmaster. It is literally the best pocket stove on the market.
BRS also makes some really cool knives! They’re just drop based.
With stoves like this, it’s not the stoves weight that’s concerning, it’s the fuel canisters that can add the weight. For through hikers it can be a pain to get the canisters.
it won't work
26 grams.
And it is one if the most reliable and best proved stoves. Thousands of long distance hikers used it in the past years.
I kept this one in my backpack ICE for a while
Can't compare R&D products to copied products. No comparison.
I’ve had mine for years! She’s solid.
Buy this so you can carry 2 more oz of water. 😂
Yeah, grams are an issue in the "not so great" USA
lol I have this thing as a back up luckily haven’t had to use it yet
Dayz vibes
That is not a stove but part of it. It is just a burner with a valve and stand.
I got the same one of Ali express for £1 and it works just fine!
26 ounces is less than 1 ounce?
Chinese made
Knockoff models are a plenty and the stove’s pot supports bend. Not the fault of the main company, just a warning
Also they’re incredibly inefficient. As in a 4 minute boil time compared to whatever the pocket rocket 2 achieves. Makes me laugh when people pair it with those 4oz cans
However it’s kinda neat when in use. Owned one and used it once and gave it to a newbie friend as his first stove
Does that have a regulator??
Why not just retake the clip lol. 26 ounces lighter than an ounce. Quantum physics or something. Because it gets us to comment duhh
