I will try this method with sawa on the Egusi
I personally like it with a little more of the sawa leaves than what you have. You can barely see the leaves 🍃/ plasas on yours.
It looks yummy tho.
I waa looking for what to cook tomorrow and i think i found it.
I feel like eating it now
Love watching you lady. It's hard to find Sierra Leone cooking videos and I pray and hope in the nearest future, there will be more.
I'm so glad an egusi soup w/o palm oil! Palm oil has a flower perfume fragrance taste, I feel like it shouldn't be consumed but used for cosmetics, and they do. It doesn't taste good for ANY food!
How many cups of Egusi did u used
I subscribed. I found I'm Mende and I will be trying your recipes.
Sista yu hair idi look so fine ✨you di shine ohh 🇸🇱👸🏾
What do you pair this with?
Another method of deshelling egusi I was going to ask if you cook egusi with the skin in salone.
I’m here again 😛just feel like eating the food
New subscriber. Congratulations! I'm seeking to connect with my Sierra Leonean roots and enjoyed your video. Would you please share why some Egusi soup is red and some is cream color? What makes it different and how does it impact the taste? Thanks so much!
Nice ♥️♥️
I prepared it like so today since it's Saturday today. I used goat meat, smoked snapper, cow nose, squids and fresh shrimps 🍤.
Please was the egusi toasted with the skin before blending? Thank you. More Sierra Leone cooking. Thank uou, and keep it up.
Looks good
Would it be good without oil?
So interesting oh,new subscriber here and a Nigerian too. I just cook the same soup but quite different
