The ambassador in this forum was beating about the bush while contradicting himself.
From first hand account from an Ethiopian who said he followed raila when he came to addis to campaign for the seat. During question time Raila kept talking about the past as though there was no future for the continent. He said Raila kept refering to 1964 unbeknowst to him thats many years ago many Africans especially the youth of today were not born as if Africa does not have a future, and the continent is 70% youth. so they could not understand the reference to 1964. he also said raila kept confusing names.
On the day of the AU election he said Kenyans who went to Addis; really annoyed alot of people., They were closing roads to celebrate and dance. The hotel Kenyans were staying at, there were so many Kenyans and their Behavior was annoying and intolerable. They were so loud at the hotel that they were singing and dancing in celebration before the vote; saying Raila was going to win. He said the kenyans invited him to the party saying raila is going to win. He said there were so many that they were even blocking the streets and dancing.
He said he was at a resturant and Raila walked in with so many people and they were loud dancing and celebrating and that annoyed alot of people and thats the history of Odinga in Kenya. He said Raila celebrates too soon before the conclusion of a campaign and then this tragedy happens. He said besides the work Raila has done in the past he will be known as an African who keeps campaigning and losing. He said after the election, at the hotel Kenyans were they were in a bad mood, disappointed
