  1. Stop displaying ignorance. Go and research why it happens before reaching your prejudiced, negative conclusions. Nigeria is not Canada. How many European or Canadian leaders have been assassinated in recent times? Zero. Africa? Several. Nigeria? Several. Ghana? Several. Africa is not Europe. The last time a Nigerian leader went out without a convoy he was shot dead in traffic. Look up Gen. Murtala Ramat Muhammed. Best leader they ever had. They use large convoys today for security and to discourage would-be assassins. If YOU became president and your security team said you needed x number of cars in a convoy to guarantee your security, you would say no? You are not a security or military expert, so who are you to say what number of vehicles constitutes adequate security for a president in a given situation? Especially in a country like Nigeria where they have issues with terrorists? You are all saints and all-knowing philosophers until you get into power, and the reality hits you. If YOU were president, you would not have the careless mindset you propose for others of ''Oh, even if I travel with 5,000 cars, my enemies can still get me if they really want to, so I might as well travel with 5 cars''.

  2. Lol this is small compared to what they move around with at the Capital. I've seen a video of the former president Good luck Jonathan convoy at the Capital. Aside cars and bikes, he had about twenty horseback riders surrounding his car. 41 cars is nothing special😂 it's even small. Some governors go around in convoys of this sizes as well.

But this particular convoy has many prominent people in it because they were going to commission a Metro line. I saw the video of their return trip and the convoy had grown to about sixty cars because of the local police cars included.

This is even very unusual due to the fact that the presidential guards are on red alert for a possibility coup. I was expecting armoured vehicles in the fleet 😂. Maybe that's what they'll do when they get to the capital 😂

  3. They are using the constitution to govern the country, but they are selectively using the clauses that benefit them the most. It is essential that ordinary citizens unite, stand up, and demand the protective constitution to work for them, not just politicians or leaders. Rather than blaming politicians, we should hold ourselves accountable and take action. Let's be wise and rise up for our rights.

  4. The 47 suv these African presidents are using are Toyota Iand Cruiser and Lexus. Each of these Toyota land Cruiser and lexus are worth over $100,000 dollars each. Not figuring in fuel consumption and maintenance .

  5. African Presidents be demonstrating power in Poverty & Ignorance, Driving over 40cars in bad gully roads…
Are you not suppose to maintain your roads first…smh🤧

  6. 😂😂😂😂😂You say what you do not understand, yet some stupid yibos are supporting your stupidity cos bold of you to mislead. This happened in Lagos on Tuesday 29th of February for the commissioning of the Lagos State red rail line. Those were not only the President's convoy but also about four other governors like the Lagos, Ogun and Ondo states governors.

Secondly you should know that Lagos is President Tinubu's home, he was even a former governor in Lagos, so a thinking person will understand that he will definitely have more people joining his convoy. DONT COMPARE TINUBU TO AKUFO ADDO WHO HAS A N AMBULANCE AS PART OF HIS CONVOY AND A DEDICATED V8 TO CARRY HIS CHAIR😂😂😂😂😂. KWASIA

  7. YOU AEE A YOUNG GUY, AND IS GOOD THAT YOUR ARE ASKING? THE PRESIDENT OF THE NATION IS VERY IMPORTANT, BECAUSE OF SECURITY IN THE WORLD FOR POLITICANS, THEY NEED THAT SECURITY.. THE SECURITY THREAT IN THE COUNTRY OF NIGERIA IS 0 TO 10 , SO IT GOOD TO HAVE MANY SECURITY PERSONAL.SHUT UP,YOU ARE COMPARING TO AMERICA OR EUROPEANS IS FOOLISHNESS GUY

  8. What is your point? Is this the extent of your analytical brain power? Those “special treatments”you alluded to are called “ perks”…You don’t have presidential convoy, you have “KAKISTOCRATS CONVOY”…..Please spare us the display of useless emotions! ….

  9. if presidents need a whole army to protect them like Putin, Kim jong un or Tinubu they are doing something wrong. They are scared of their own people!!

  10. I grasp the concerns many Africans harbor regarding the size of presidential convoys. The variance in convoy sizes across countries stems from the differing security measures in place to safeguard leaders and address potential threats. In Ghana, the perceived lack of significant domestic or foreign threats may lead some to view the extensive convoy as unnecessary from a layperson's standpoint. However, as a security analyst, I can affirm that there are indeed specific high-risk threats identified by the security sector, necessitating these precautionary measures. The presence of threats like Boko Haram in Nigeria further exacerbates the need for heightened security measures, akin to how the United States faces challenges from groups like ISIS, al-Qa'ida, and Hezbollah. Thus, it's crucial to analyse the multitude of factors influencing convoy sizes with a critical lens, acknowledging the complexities of security considerations in different contexts.
