  1. Reckon every fan of the English leagues would love Eddie as England manager which is exactly what Simon is eluding to. But sorry FA, he has a job at Newcastle to complete, hands off.

  2. Simon asked the questions that others are too scared to ask. Did he word some right? no. Do we still respect the questions? yes.

Eddie still answered them the best way and shows how class he was

  3. Cracking content Simon, love his acidic but respectful interviewing technique, not afraid to ask questions we all want, as a Toon fan i love Eddie Howe, it was great to see and hear more about his rise from Childhood to the manager and person we love and respect, there is no better English manager, top fella and man manager, has emotional intelligence in spades.

  4. This is the manager of my club. And he's a winner and he's agood human. What a story. And what a stroke of fortune NUFC have him as a comitted, intelligent and totally committed manager.

  5. This guy is something special the way he acts and presents himself on and off the field is amazing. I doubt Newcastle would find another like him. He has to be kept at all costs.

  6. Everyone’s path is already created… what is yours won’t pass you by! The desire is given to you, as well as the right opportunities. I believe this was always what Eddie was supposed to do. Great interview xx

  7. Simon held a great interview and brought the truth to the surface well done Eddie also I can understand now why you were annoyed at selling young players when the bigger picture is youth so as to survive, lower wages also and get rid of agents two more seasons ,

  8. The problem with so many foreign managers/players is that the PL is over saturated by them. so its almost impossible for an English player/manager to get noticed or achieve anything because the slightest failure they get, they are kicked out of the door or to lower levels. making it even more harder.

  9. 56:54 – When Simon asks him if he believes he’s the best English coach in the country, I wish he just said yes with his whole chest. If we want our countrymen to be seen in a higher regard in management, our best guys need to move like they’re our best guys. I’m English myself but I’ve always thought English managers in general just lack that edge in their personality.
