There's something about when men speak and be vulnerable…it's so powerful. Love this!
I disagree that there are no rule books. God is the author of relationships and so His word the Bible presents excellent relationship guidance. If a marriage is “just between two people” then why are we all here learning from each other? Why go to a counselor etc? The Bible says the older women should teach the younger; marriage is between two people but is blessed by the presence of community and valuable wise connections. It takes a village; God is a God of relationship and community; it’s never just about 2 people even though 2 are married.
Love is deeper than “like”; love is unconditional but like is contingent on what is done or not done. When we love deeply, like or liking will flow ; liking is about how someone makes us feel whereas love is selfless and is “other” focused.
Absolutely loved the discussion and multiple perspectives on this thing we call Black love! I could care less what the panelist wore or who they love the message was recieved and my soul fed 🖤
