  1. In NZ that has been a prerequisite for any rugby player worth his or her salt for generations. Body on the line commitment is a standard issue in the game and it is nurtured from junior grades.

  2. If you go into sports with this intention – you’ve got a bloody nerve to whinge at the other end if you have ABI/HIA. You are the problem, not the sport.
