  1. Unless you're someone like me doesn't care what the color of the person is but looks at the individual features, there are some white people who look amazingly alike and just to give you an example the late actors Dana Elcar and Don s Davis the two look so much alike they were often mistaken for each other by other people… Apparently this looks like this between the two was something that they often joked about because it happened quite a lot that they were mistaken one for the other by other people especially in Hollywood and it's kind of funny when you think about it cuz they're not a thing alike yes they both have a kind of round face yes they're both white men but they're very different for me it's a voice that makes the final say I can tell you buy a voice which person is which and it's because I don't rely on one sense alone. Also I don't know if it's because I am autistic but every person to me is different every person to me is like a fingerprint and no two people are ever like even when I was a kid and they were twins who were considered so identical even their mother had a hard time telling him apart I never did and they always found that amazing that I could always tell who was who and that had to do with the fact that is because I distinguished by characteristics people have minute characteristics even down to the way they talk the way they move everything to me is like a fingerprint. And while these days I might not remember a person's name I can tell you where I've met them what they were doing at the time and all kinds of other details about them just names or something I happen not to be good at. And by the way the name business is because I took a blow to The Head and there are a few things that are a problem with my memory but not facial recognition I'm better than the software and I'm not bragging I am telling you this based on what doctors and certain other people have said about me and I don't always like that because it makes me feel like a robot. Then again I used to get constantly picked on by people saying that I have a lot in common with Spock in that I am way too logical it's just the way I was brought up.I don't see how they could say those two people looked alike to me they were very distinctive one has a longer face one has a rounder face there's other differences as well and I can point out every single one but I get the idea I mean plenty of people who are African-American are constantly making mistakes with white people and vice versa white people are constantly saying the same thing but then again there is a saying that goes you know all fill in the blank of color look alike… And that's the thing I never understood until the explanation in this clip, I couldn't understand how people couldn't tell somebody from a group of people simply because of their color I never understood that, then again to me every face is as distinctive as the scenery that is around a person that's how it is for me nobody blends in because my brain sees them from an artist's perspective, I'm just weird I guess that's all it is I'm just weird.

  2. I’m white and work at an airport bar. Unless someone black or white has very different facial features I can’t tell anyone apart. It all blends together for me regardless of race. Like so many people look like the same person to me.

  3. I think it’s an issue in all races I’m black so I can identify the small differences in our faces yet most time Asian faces or white faces look very similar to me or in a way I can put them in certain categories.

  4. the question I find myself asking, as an Australian, is why they call one group of people African-Americans and the other group simply Caucasian? Why aren't caucasians called American-Caucasians? Is this an example of institutionalised racism within the american system?

  5. Not just African Americans, but all ethnicities besides Caucasians. You don't know how many times I watched kids call their Korean classmate Chinese. Or even more so, my half-Filipino uncles being called Mexican.

  6. It’s not just African-American faces. It’s also Asian faces and any person of color. They can only really distinguish their own races face its scientific but it’s also really crazy.

  7. It'll be super great if they started to include the episode thy are presenting… yes de good wife is a great show, but is too long with a 20+ episode per season format…

  8. Because they don’t see us! But shit I don’t seem them either a white woman could rob me and I wouldn’t be able to tell u what she looked like! 😂😂😂😂

  9. My mom worked at a store where someone was stealing &ran off. She chased out of instinct (old enough to retire & chasing people?😂) she and the Manager were questioned about the guy's description. My mom quickly said she couldn't even remember what clothing he was wearing after the adrenaline wore off. "I'd be the worst witness ever!"

  10. Pls stop playinnnn lmfao those men looked nothing alike and I’m middle eastern and white lmfaoooo and I’m screaming from the rooftops them men did not look alike different shaped heads, different jaws, different noses, different shades of black, they looked ENTIRELY different their eye shape wasn’t even similar maybe it’s cuz I like to paint and draw but I notice the differences in peoples faces I believe the studies are probably true but I cannot believe that woman truly believed them men was the same person or even remotely looked alike like bffr😭

  11. We can't identify subtle differences in any color of people. Live long enough, everyone you see will remind you of a dozen other people who look enough like him to be him. Eye witness testimony is basically worthless.

  12. Study showed that those people were racist af lol even I know the difference between Japanese and Koreans to Chinese and maybe get it wrong a few times but for black Americans? That’s cake walk all 4 were hella different funny ass writing tho

  13. Lol science hasn't been able to😂😂😂
If your around brown faces more you can identify them better cause your brain needs to go into detail ti differentiate, this is true for all races, just depends on who you grew up around
