what I genuinely dislike how over the last 6-8 years "tech" has become hyper focused on phones. I don't deny that cell phones are a amazing items jammed packed with technology, but its really commercialism at a ridiculous scale.
The average person is not tech savvy, is not into science. So we have this entire commercial "tech" review bubble that is 95% phones and their accessories, entire "tech" sites with new phone reviews everyday. Its getting old having to wade through phone reviews that boil down to is it cheaply made, and did the picture quality improve when looking for actually technology news and reviews.
