Mountain Gorilla Trekking | Uganda | Mgahinga Gorilla National Park


Pre-COVID-19 pandemic, we spent a day in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park on the Uganda side of the Virunga Mountains in central Africa. There are approximately 1,000 mountain gorillas left in the wild. Their population is spread between Uganda, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

  1. May I ask what lodge you stayed at? Looking at going to Mgahinga in 2025 but there's no way I am paying for Mount Gahinga Lodge. But would also prefer to stay in a nature lodge and not in Kisoro.
