Buy a boat. Floods are coming with earth quakes ❤
If they knew the rain was coming could the dam not of released water sooner to mitigate the flood?
More weather control…💯🇯🇲🇬🇧👍
Hopefully the climate change will stall the urban sprawl 😅
Leads one to speculate as to the underlying ( anthropogenic)causes ??? And,no,not HAARP,etc, etc HAHA
Oh climate change 😂😂Defundthebbc
Lucky there is no such thing as climate change or things like this could be a lot worse.
More light showers predicted.
Why did they ever let people build in flood prone areas?!

With only a few casualties it seems that Australians are taking the dangers seriously. Some Americans would be out driving through flood waters or other reckless activities that put their lives in danger.
They can sell water to Taiwan

The world has changed

Pray for world 🌎 peace 🕊️ be safe+:
Sadly there’s a vociferous anti climate change lobby there. 1 was there in 2019 when the country was on fire and half a billion animals perished….so sad
USA & Israel aren't went peace in the world
Strange, climate changes news
The devils home
Is it possible to make some wells that rain goes under ground to be saved as 'under ground water' or be lead to some big reservoir to supply to houses or save for later or be sold to the countries in need of water, or move rain clouds to dry bushes or cities?
One thing we Aussies do well is natural disasters. Hot dam it was wet Thursday & Friday! Sun was out for the weekend. Was planning to go for a bush walk Sunday in Lane cove national Park but the park was closed due to flooding. Stay safe peeps!
Hope the gound water levels is being restored.
Speaking as someone who lives in a town down-stream from Warragamba Dam, the government has known for years, that the Dam has to be modified to allow incremental spills when the level gets too high. As it is, when it reaches near the top, the flood-gates open and floods happen downstream. They need to raise the Dam level or modify it but they won't spend the money. Because of Climate Change, these flood events are now regular when they were rare in the past.
I live in Sydney but not in a flood-prone area. The rain the other night was the heaviest I can recall experiencing in this city. It was so heavy and loud it kept waking me throughout the night. It’s been sunny today, though.
Big deal this is Australia.
Very little rain here in Melbourne, in south-eastern Australia. Please be careful about generalising. Australia is a huge country with a variety of climates. It can be 32 degrees and humid in Darwin, mid-20s and raining in Sydney, and 17 deg in Hobart, all at the same time 😊
They just don’t learn DON’T DRIVE THROUGH FLOOD WATER.💦 most of the rescues were people driving through water over roads.🤔🙃 Putting other people’s lives in danger.
57 year old aussie here. This use to be called weather back in the 70s -80s. Now its 'Run for the Hills' time. Floods have and always will happen. And so will fires. " Land of Drought and Flooding rain"
This is everyday Australia.
This is Australia everyday, floods, droughts and fires. It happens when government allow development in flood prone areas.
Sydney flooding, taiwan earthquake, natural disasters everywhere
I had 4 submersible pumps on full capacity to divert flooding from my farm house in the Hunter Valley. The storm literally came from nowhere. I was knee deep within 10 minutes!
I was in the local town shopping and as I pulled up to my main gate, all hell broke loose! Today, it’s as if it very happened, blue skies and warm sunshine
It's really bad news…One of m friends lives there…
God speed to help everyone.keepsafe.
🙏😢
Now the alligators 🐊 😮
Seems like the world’s weather is going crazy. Big earthquake in Taiwan, tornados in US as well as earthquakes in eastern US (very uncommon there) and this flood.
Dam overflowing still on water restrictions

Climate change is super real.
Gaslightting Australian Government still push climate change propaganda through federal funded ABC media and BOM weather forecasters, stating Australia having drier to drought conditions.
why bbc didn't open dam gates during foret fires?

Im in Australia and I didn't even know it was flooding anywhere
Well, in addition to climate change, in 2022, the Tonga volcano eruption sent enormous amounts of water vapour into the stratosphere, which scientists say could impact parts of Australia for up to 8 years.

Sydney should look to Singapore as an example. Singapore turned their CBD Marina Bay area into their largest freshwater reservoir by building a barrage to separate the sea from the river. Sydney harbor can also do the same
For years now, decades even, the environmentalist lunatics have screamed climate change and we will have perpetual drought. The degenerate government listened to these morons and started changing city/urban planning to open up more land… on 100 year floodplains. Then they started taxing us on climate change and making our lives hell with all the BS renewable energy crap. You reap what you sow!
yeah flooding now, and then there will be reports of water shortage and drought 2 to 3 months from now
Australia is a rich country they all have had insurance.
Well at least this time phil doesn't have to travel anywhere else around Australia..🤦♂️
