  1. wake up wake up people … countries are made by actions not promises. you will all get old and die before you realize hopes are just hops without any actions

  2. Eritreans have faced profound trauma throughout their history, enduring colonization under Turkish, Italian, British, and Ethiopian rule. From these oppressive regimes, they developed a unique psychological response, often referred to as Stockholm Syndrome, particularly during Mussolini's reign. This phenomenon is recognized by the scientific community and law enforcement alike. The situation is further complicated by the identity crisis faced by many Eritreans; they oscillate between claiming Arab identity while simultaneously denying their African roots. This confusion is evident in their aspirations to join the Arab League, only to later be met with rejection on the grounds of not being "Arab enough."

The suffering inflicted by President Isaias Afwerki is undeniable, yet there remains a significant faction that expresses loyalty to him. This complex dynamic illustrates how deeply their experiences have shaped their psyche. For almost 38 years of independence, Eritrea has witnessed a drastic decline in freedom and rights. Weddings and birthdays have become rare occasions, as a generation of young people has largely fled the country, while many young women are trapped in perpetual military service.

Amidst this turmoil, a courageous wave of youth bravely risks their lives to escape Eritrea. Afwerki’s chilling directive to "shoot to kill" adds a terrifying layer of danger for those seeking freedom. However, the journey to safety is fraught with peril. Refugees must navigate the treacherous Libyan desert, where kidney smugglers pose additional threats. Even after overcoming these harrowing challenges, they face the daunting sea crossing, with only five out of every 100 reaching safety on land.

Despite these dire circumstances, the resilience of my beloved Afar people stands strong as they continue their fight for independence for a brighter future, determined to break free from the shadows of oppression in Eritrea

  3. Isayas is all talk. He cannot build a strong and innovative nation. He can only destroy and enslave his own people, betray his comrades in arms, and concentrate power in his own hands. His legacy to his people is surpassing the Italians in subjugating them to regression, destructive wars, incarceration, repression, and demographic exodus spanning generations. Eritrea does not need empty promises from a myopic dictator. It need a change of political leadership. Eritrea also need to change its name to Amasien. The name Eritrea should be rejected due to its Italian origin and association. Its shameful to base your name on colonial legacies of your oppressors. Amasien is the true name of the country. In addition to that we need a good, responsible, and patriotic government to restore and install rule of law based on a codified version of s'rät and end immigration and demographic bleeding through an ambitous program of repatriation of the hundreds of thousands of citizens in exile. These are the top priorities of the people. Everything else are of trivial importance. We young people should not permitt ourselves to be burdened with the failed communist ideology of the dictator and his generations and produce a new school of thought in regards to our national identity, political ideology, and vision for our country.

  5. Eritrea is located in a very strategic area. Eritrea could benefit from tourism if it declare Massawa as free area. The wealthy people will come and spend their money for their comfort. Those who come to visit Massawa, would also want to spend some beautiful time and enjoy the cold weather of Asmara. Learn from Dubai. But Dubai doesn even have a beautiful weather of Asmara.

  6. From the very beginning, if we were left alone the sky would be a limit, but the west and its servants was there as a stambling stone for us 🇪🇷s
