  1. Before May 29,2023, there’s no skyrocketing food items & commodities prices out of control arbitrary rising of prices. Food prices & commodities rising prices occurring on your watch. You threw Naira exchange rate into free floats markets that commenced depreciations of Naira values & weaken purchasing powers. It’s Cardoso’s watch!

  2. What a shame! look at how Nigeria has become just within a year and you miserable people still have guts to talk. So pity. Blame buhari's govt as you wish, afterall Jonathan's govt was highly criticized. But atlesat, buhari's govt was more than 100% better than this miserable and confused apc govt. under tinubu

  3. Talk is cheap. His boss has not owned up to his monumental errors that have put Nigeria at the dangerous abyss that we find ourselves. You are not talking facts with figures, you cannot solve any fiscal problem

  4. Cardoso needs media mentor and strategists. Ur utterances are like this was not the same government in the last 8years. Too much generic statements. No figures to justify efforts. Nigerians are too tolerant and this is why he is talking this way. Am surprised he never mentioned waste and volume of money going into governance. Palliative is fraud, and he knows. He should mention one region in Nigeria with success in palliative. Tax are collectable when income is created for the masses. In which world is Cardoso living in. Nigerians are not illiterate, we go by logic and we see global governance styles. Why are we so different and inflicting pains to the poor.

  5. The government have failed Nigerians.
Get NGOZI OKONJO IWUALA AS THE FINANCE MINISTER AND WATCH THE ECONOMY STABLE IN 3 MONTHS AND IN 6 MONTHS TIME, THINGS EILL GET NORMAL THE WAY AN AVERAGE NIGERIAN WILL SURVIVE.

  6. Many have problem in understanding. He is simply saying he and his team are not the CAUSE of the current economic woes however they are part of the team to provide SOLUTION. The solution isn't coming instantly but gradual. There so many inherited factors.

  7. If you're not responsible for the woes of this country, then we should see this present government bring every previous CBN governor and 'his team' that is found wanting in the bastardizing of this nation economy to book. Every punishment in books should be thrown at them. Meanwhile, excuses is not what we need from you lots.

  8. One is the quality of a good leader is to take responsibility. Mr CBN you have to take responsibility else you can step down if you dont have solutions to the economic crises

  9. Has anyone asked why a country as endowed as Nigeria is struggling to maintain its corporate existence? Bogged down by endemic corruption, systemic tribalism, and intractable inertia, Nigeria is incompatible with itself. So, why don’t we agree to separate ourselves and allow everyone to go his/her own way while we still have some time on our side?

  10. Yes, you and your team were not responsible for the current state of things but you inherited a burden of woes that, i believe you are bent of fixing. I wish you my best wishing.

  11. If Cardoso says he’s not responsible for throwing Naira exchange rates into free floats markets, that commences depreciating Naira value & purchasing power thereby, crippling average food items & commodities prices causing hunger, hopelessness & frustrations.

  12. The CBN governor has failed, so far. And he ashould be honest enough to admit it and change course. The fiscal policies of this government has brought us all on our knees. And he is here grandstanding. What a shame.

  13. This man is talking about palliative, this man does not know the how much comes in daily from all sector, and citing he said we do not control these things which he didn't mention? This person whom I just listened to has no clear plan or idea about the fail of naira.
