It has come to our attention that the term "coloured" in South Africa does not have the pejorative connotation that is heavily associated with it in North America. We would like to take this opportunity to state that we have made a mistake regarding this and apologize for any confusion or misunderstanding.
This is not true we fid not learn this in school, we learnt a correct version of history
Your'll hated Martha Ghandi because he visited to see Nelson Mandela to fight apartaid with silence it's your ideology of racism not anyone else what a joke
Bit confused about British rule from 1910 to 1948….inculcating apartheid. It actually what was done in all the british colonies – however in 1948 the british handed over to the Afrikaners and the Afrikaners imposed Apartheid…..Hahahahaha the british still supported South Africa untill the mid 1980's and Rhodesia untill the midd 1960's.
Yes Apartheid was very much like the Germans gassing their own citizens because they were of a different religion (They blame Hitler) – BUT you want the cause for apartheid look at Britain. Before answering me – seriously look at how Britain citizens treated people in India, Australia, Kenya, Canada etc.
The word derogatory that was used especially in the Apartheid era was Kleurling
It’s so great seeing the ANC lose their majority. Time for productive change in South Africa!
Its a stain but only exposed in the later years……..the brits had a lovely time with all their workers in their victorian homes. Just a tip tho…….apartheid was more extreme in the usa against the native Americans . What the settlers did to those people is far far worse ……
No doubt that the apartheid regime was the awful and brutal but what we see in South Africa today is the economic collapse
It wasn’t a stain whatsoever.
Man the Dutch really had a superiority complex. They the only nation I know that would believe in the righteousness off their race that they felt justified to rape, pillage and wipe out a race just because… Insane😂
Ok i see there is an apology for calling us mixed race. Since its information on South Africa we should be described as our preference. We do not like to be classed as mixed race.
Your version is drastically incorrect. I wax born there in 1970. They didn’t call us a mixed race. You need to get your facts right!!!
Just like you misunderstand the fact that coloured isn't a racist term, you misunderstand the whole of South Africa's history.
Your whole video consists of a bunch of lies told of South Africa.
And the fact that you say it so confidently against the Boers and Afrikaaners makes it look like this whole history lesson of yours is out of hatred for them, making it completely unbelievably ignorant of you.
Oh what better times in South Africa!
Apartheid was the formalization of a practice that was already naturally in place. Its purpose was to protect whites against black racism, to protect the cultural integrity of black tribes, and to prevent the subliterate uneducated majority from usurping and destroying the country, as history has borne out.
Coloureds dont want to be assosiated with blacks they dont like them

There are two races
The first one is the only one
The human race
The second one
Is the race against time……

The whole world is mixed, including your, Mr presenter, and only once the artificial barriers are removed through Homo Sapienism, will the Control Matrix evaporate. Oh, I'm sure you'll find something else to do then.
At 4:58, you mentioned that, after unification, the British Govt started passing laws to further disenfranchise people. After 31 May 1910, the British government had very limited powers in the Union and laws were passed by the Union (SA) Government – SA was a self-governing Dominion now, after all.
You also need to do proper research about slavery under the Dutch. The people kept as slaves came from other Dutch colonies in Indonesia, Malaysia and Madagascar. Not native South Africans.
This is what the zionist colonial occupation is doing to Palestine
They will do the same thing to the USA. Traitors will hand it over to foreign enemies or incompetent minorities and it'll collapse.
During that last documentary the black people said they preferred apartheid. At least the white government was competent. Now you have a corrupt, incompetent group of idiots solely concerned about looting and leaving el
thank you sir deserve mentionble through what humans can do their flow humans.
Do you really think you can explain South Africa's 372 year history in 20 minutes ? If you do you are making a big mistake. South Africa was under British rule for 166 years from 1795 to 1961. Why did the English came to South Afica and what did they want. The boers wasn't the only people invovlved in a war with the British. What about the Americans and for that matter the rest of the world as well.
Everybody just tried to get away from British rule. Why do you think Apartheid came about. After what the British did to them in both boer wars and what the boers suffered at the hands of the black tribes they came across when they decided to leave the Cape and British rule behind, it was an attempt to keep themselves save from harm. Nevertheless never forget the fact that many South Africans, as well as other commonwealth forces, also served in both world wars, with distinction I may add.
The ugly word, Apartheid, was not invented by the boers, it was inherited from British Rule. Do you think the British treated them better than the black peoples of South Africa ? The Afrikaans language of the boers was known as a "kitchen language" and was only recognised as an "official" language in 1932. While white South Africans today are made out to be racists they don't complain, because they never have.
All being said we are a God fearing nation and will keep on doing so. In the video I have watched you basically just touched certain points, maybe of interest, but what can you do in 20 minutes. Good luck with your next video. It will probably be the sad story of what little is left of South Africa after the "glorious" rule of the ANC.
Good luck.
Remember USSR was in the right of history when it comes to the liberation movement in Africa, Asia and Latin America. USA has supported the cannibal apartheid regime in South Africa and brutal fascist regime in Chile. Those are undisputable facts.
Lol you can’t say coloured without blurring?
In America the mix race was also called coloureds. Why I say it is, a woman check out her DNA and found that she had African blood. She did research and found documents which had a C on it which meant coloured other documents had a B on them which meant Black. So the term Coloured isn't an South African only tern.

What? The apartheid government was brutal and murdered many people in prisons. This truly wasn't apartheid but apartheid light 😆😆😆
Africa should form one great country that encompass at least half of it .. then you could rival European an Asian nations .. look at china a century of humiliation an now there ready to get smacked by the u.s but at least there standing up for what they think is rite an they have world influence now .. african nations dnt even have a navy
Sounds like a current government in the world today
a true stain on the history of human kind. let talk about apartheid palestine
I think you should take a good long hard look at your own country's history before you criticize South Africa for its admittedly horrible racial laws.
Coloured is a normal term in SA. Not everything is from your perspective
You talk nonsense in the first few sentences of your summary by stating that the early Dutch farmers kept slaves in the form of native Africans.
The true history is that the work was too much for the small number of Dutch East Indian Company (DEIC) employees tasked with establishing a halfway station (91 to be exact) to such an extent that its continued operations was in jeopardy. It was a very strict principle of the DEIC NOT to use indigenous people as slaves, therefore 228 slaves were sent to the Cape on board ships called Maria and De Hasselt and arrived on 13 July 1657. They were traded at Popo at the Guinea coast and was predominantly of Malaysian descent, although Africans from North Africa were also traded from Mozambique in subsequent years.
Native Africans were NEVER, NOT ONCE, in the whole history of South Africa used as slaves. Cheap labour yes, but not slaves. More slaves were imported in subsequent years and regulated with strict laws, and the British put a stop to the practice in 1854. As the first British occupation of the Cape took place in 1806, Britain also partook in slavery (always imported) during 1806 to 1854.
Make sure about your facts before you spew garbage. There were slaves yes, but the community called 'coloureds' in South Africa are the descendants of those slaves, NOT southern black Africans or the Khoi and San (called Hottentots in those days). Truth is the Hottentots were kept out of the Dutch community because of the serious threat (to them) of theft and robbery which sometimes included murder. In one of his prayers Van Riebeeck asked God to help them convert these 'wilde brutale menschen' (wild, brutal people) to Christianity. Later on, the problem escalated to such an extent that they were banned from the Dutch community. THERE the beginning of Apartheid can be found. It is, of course, unknown what the criticisms of the Khoi and San people were of the Dutch, because it was never written down.
I will not even bother to listen to the rest, most likely it will be more garbage. Why do you do this in the first place anyway? Don't you have your own despicable history to 'explain'?
lsrael tried to get Apartheid South Africa to maintain apartheid and minority rule indefinitely by on one hand promising unending financial and military and intelligence aid and international lobbying and on the other hand threatening to reveal incriminating and embarrassing material on South African politicians and or their families M0ssad had accumulated
Just like Israel today…
Rather focus on how we got rid of apartheid. Through negotiation not through the barrel of a gun. That is the way to go in any international conflict. Fortunately we had a Mandela and De Klerk, no one gained all and no one lost all. Give and take that should be the mantra.
South Africa was far better run under white rule than it is now. Many black people would agree. And look at Zimbabwe now.A basket case ruled by corrupt and inept people. worthless currency etc..
It should be noted that the late great Boer Nationalist Robert Van Tonder left the National Party in 1961.
The same year, Hendrik Verwoerd turned South Africa into a nominal republic.
In order to advocate for the restoration of the Boer Republics.
Robert Van Tonder founded his own political party known as the Boerestaat Party after the other political parties refused to consider the restoration of the Boer Republics.
He also refused to be apart of the Broederbond. (Hench he was uncontrollable)
Any person no idiot who thinks the SA economy is worse off now than during Apartheid clearly can't read a simple graph….. GDP, GNI, all them guys…
Look, the state has to worry about more than just a handful of privileged white people but the entire population,,
Your previous governments(white) never planned for large scale rural electrification for millions of black folks… Ergo you don't have capacity… takes years to build… try reading books gents
Some proper context:

On the land issue. The majority of agricultural land was useless to Bantus, as they didn't have the crops or know-how to cultivate arid and near desert lands.
Hence, where they Homelands were created, is where they settled not long before the arrival the Dutch at the Cape.
Apply some context, lest you too sound like a communist.
Just look how well dressed they are and know one is uderfed good old days in south africa viva
Thank you for this I’m so mad that I didn’t learn any of this in school smh
