How ancient Spartans REALLY trained

Very little is known about the training of the ancient Spartans. Luckily for us, I literally wrote the book researching their methods.

Here are two exercises and one supplement that they used, ALL of which YOU can use today to feed the inner Spartan.

And be sure to check out my book if you want to see the most detailed breakdown of Spartan…

  1. The Arabs from the time of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was the elite warriors, no-one can deny they defeated the Roman Empire, the Persian Empire, the Vikkings, the Spartans.

  2. Spartans didn't know about immunity or inflammation! Lol, this guy is a grifter. Also, these images are laughable. They were not built like that. They would have looked lean and not built like body builders

  3. I'm embarrassed for that guy. He just made a total fool of himself. Very little is known about it but lucky for you I'm an expert. I still can't believe he said one of the secrets is calisthenics. Weighted running, yeah, I was doing that when I was 14 and millions of guys have been doing it for well over a hundred years before me. Ironwort/Greek Mountain Tea…you want to know how secret it is ? Do a Google search and you'll see how many companies all over the world sell it. It's been a part of herbal medicine for thousands of years all over the place.

  4. real roman here, no wonder why i have a strong urge to lift rocks and logs and keep myself in my room all day every day lifting weights and going on 8 mile runs on the road every weekend

  5. the best warrior of all times was khalid ibn alwalid
he has a record of 40 battles without loosing he brocks 7 swords in single battle

He defeated the Romans, who were outnumbered. and so much…

  6. The Spartans were not "the best warriors of all time." 😂
They had a terrible attack record in their day and lost far far more often than they won. They had about 100 years of relevance on the local stage and then faded into such obscurity and irrelevance that Alexander of Macedon literally didn't even bother conquering them.

You can always tell a pop-cukture "historian" by how cool/effective they think the Spartan were. 😂

  7. Quite a lot IS known about the Spartan training called the AGOGE ! Historians have been going on about it for centuries now. In Greece they're are people who we'd call re-enactors live the Spartan warrior way and eat the food they would have…so his sales pitch is kinda flawed and the imagery is almost straight out of Frank Miller's 300 graphic novel

  8. Another would be farm work. All of the spartans must have been doing hard labour work around their homes and their towns. Like farmer strength. And forget about the doubters. The Spartans have our bodies. So they must have done the basics over and over again. All of their life they must have been training to be strong warriors.
