The old show Suspense (their Anxiety parody) is easy to find here on YT.
By the way, their comedy is refreshing, relaxing and very entertaining even today and I noticed someone said something about a laugh track. Well on this particular piece. I canโt speak for any others. This was done in front of a live audience for a PBS radio series about 1983 or four something like that
Bob and Ray started out in Boston, killing time during delays during delays in baseball games. Eventually they were given their own program, In my opinion lost their freshness. They also toned down their act and became less outrageous.
They are the originator of media satire created organically. But please oh please can someone remove the laugh track the aridity of tone is requisite
I just discovered these guys in a really bad time, after being raised on the Marx Brothers. They're fantastic
Very best wishes for your Bob and Ray channel. I've been a big fan of theirs for years and can't really understand why they're so little known. Good luck spreading the good word and remember to write if you get work.
