  1. I really appreciate this video. We built a larger version of a similar version of your home in the mountains of Dominican Republic. Your build is stunning! I dream about building a smaller home in the same area and your design is perfect! Nice job! Keep dreaming. You have a bright future.

  2. Sorry I tried to be positive, but really too many processes including the workers safety equipment , the unnecessary use of concrete are really disappointing. .the lack of environmental control during construction and heavy machinery for road is not the light approach for environment friendly architect…Most countries would have restrictions and environmental impact assessment for such a sensitive area.

  3. As an engineer I would have drilled way deeper holes for the foundation and I would have add some 45° frame elements to counter the diagonal forces that can occur when a foundation moves or when wind pushes on the cabin in windy days. In your case all the diagonal forces apply only on the welded connections.

  4. You are right. Having the materials there saved a lot of time and money! I built a 4 bed/ 4 ba I designed myself outside of Jaco in the jungle. I still feel the sense of accomplishment having built my 1st home and being a woman. I love it and will never move.
