Thanks to 50 Cents, Terrance Howard, Denzel Washington, Katt Williams, Mo'Nique, Viola Davis, Gabrielle Monique Union-Wade, Fantasia, Danielle Brooks, & so many other celebrities standing up for what's been happening in the entertainment industry in regards to Pay Disparity. I do have to point out that It's the STUDIOS, not the EPs that pay actors their salaries with that being said Why would a actress or actor sign with an agent who isn't looking after their best interest. I have a suggestion to End Pay Disparity in Hollywood it should be based on 9 Different Tier Levels. Example or a Combination of the Following:- Education, Years in the Industry. If a Celebrity has been awarded either an ( EGOT) Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony award, Small Screen (TV), Voiceover Work, Held a Title of Executive Producer in any Area of the Entertainment Industry. The next time the Union Renegotiates the Celebrities Contracts these suggestions should be on the table. If You've been in the Business 50- 30 Years & depending on your Celebrity Status $30 Million or ask for a % of the Films Profits / 15- 25 Years in the Business $15 to $25 Million % of the Film's Profits 11- 14 Years $500 Hundred Thousand / 7-10 Years $300 Hundred Thousand Dollars / 4 – 6 Years $100, 000 Dollars / 1 Year – 3 Years $50,000 Dollars. These are Examples to Change the Narrative of Pay Disparity in Hollywood. Let me know what you think.
