  1. Please Mr President our problem is your Government 30 years later we still haven't learned from Governments mistakes we have some of the best Engineers yes they White but bring them back before its to late

  2. I don't mean to take the spot light away from this man but BLACK SOUTH AFRICANS, when ZIMBABWEAN intellectuals like RUTENDO say such things, you always say "WHY DON'T YOU TALK ABOUT ZIMBABWE" . When a WHITE person says it, NOBODY says "WHY AINT HE TALKING ABOUT TURKEY"

  3. This green economy is a scam we only have coal which is cheaper and affordable available . The very same energy system from Germany they want to apply it in South Africa so that we become buyers. Nuclear energy is the way to go. I support the gentlemen he nailed and he is on point.

  4. Why are we allowing the west to dictate to us that we must abandon coal while their economies were built on fossil fuels? we are still expoerting coal to the west even today. China is building more coal power stations to ramp up their economy, why can't we do the same?

  5. This interview is long overdue. Why did SA not hear this before heavy LS kicked consumers between the teeth? Its still a mystery how yrs of draconian LS ended all on the quiet within a couple of weeks? Explanations provided really are not sufficient.
When will greenies admit industry, especcially heavy industries like car plants + mines need baseload energy from oil, gas, nuclear or coal. No ifs + buts – baseload energy is the answer to mass employment, not solar panels, windmills or massive, expensive generators with a short life span.
Why do SA fall for every snake oil salesman rocking up on its door step, buying gimmicks the country does not need, with money we do not have? Thats how consumers land up paying more to Eskom who sits with surplus power with no buyers. Just how clever is that?

  6. Very informative and well thought out; this man knows his stuff and has facts. I hope the people and the government listen to this man and change their mindset without being blinded by the noise of people who speak from opinions instead of facts.

  7. Germany has less space for offshore wind. South Africa is located nicely for offshore wind. I believe that offshore wind can provide the base load for South Africa 🎉.
