  1. $0.20/kWh? That would be glorious! I pay $0.34/kWh here, before all the additional fees and surcharges the local utility provider puts on our bill. I decreased my bill 9.3% from last year, and last month's bill was $699, $140 higher than the same month in 2023, despite using 200-300kWh less than last August. We need better solutions and we need them fast!

  2. This math doesn't make sense. Why are you using just the daily cost to run your solar A/C to calculate when you'd break even? Amount saved would be based on the difference in price between running your A/c fully on the grid and running it woth solar no?

  3. I guess we have known for decades that having our homes ADEQUATELY INSULATED IS A MUST …..now imagine production costs going WAY down …I (at least think) the future home will kinda have solar panels for a roof and a “room” allocated to energy storage (think stack washer and dryer) ….I still think they are hiding energy sources from us ….regardless we could figure all the green stuff out in the next 1000 years of Nuclear energy ….I wonder why that will never happen ….hmmmm ????? Around 50 years ago !!!!!! They wanted the AC set to 78 ….they lowered the speed limit….to 55 and wanted us to drive tiny cars ….50 years later I live in Birmingham MI ….If a family has 4 adult members they have 4 SUV’s ….a home bigger than they need….and no concern about the resources needed to keep all of “that” up and running ….if you ever get the idea that you are being lied to ….you have no fucking idea…..and a quick addendum….I think no one is (at least not to the level that people think) recycling….in our city ….to the best of my knowledge the separate “bin” and truck go to the same land fill ….mirrors and smoke screens ……if so …..what else is complete bullshit ???
