In Ephesians 4:28 we see a prime example of how we should treat those who have committed crimes, but are trying to turn their lives around.
"Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need."
This spiritual law teaches us how to lead people into real experiences with rehabilitation and constructive development processes. Especially those who have committed acts that break moral and integral laws.
Denying human souls the chance to change is not a wise thing for a government structure to do. Nor is it wise for those in the business world to move in that fashion. Because doing so hinders a person from coming into a beneficial experience with cultivation, refinement, and growth.
Those who deliberately stand in the way of a person's chance to change, do not realize that they are actually removing the gifts of grace, mercy, and forgiveness from being extended to that particular soul. And we all need grace, mercy, and forgiveness. Each and every one of us.
No one is above reproach. Everyone needs help. And everyone needs refinement, cultivation, rehabilitation and maturation and growth. No one in this earth has life figured out. No one in this earth has the building process figured out.
We are accountable for helping each other live and lead productive lives. We are accountable for giving a true demonstration of the power of grace and the power of mercy and forgiveness. Because those intimate gifts are built to bring real transformation and change in the life of a human soul. None of us can afford to remove grace and mercy and forgiveness from others. Especially when we are in need of it ourselves.
This young man deserves a chance to come into some healthy experiences with change. Because it is very evident he has a sincere desire to change the lives of others as well. Somewhere along the line in his life, he was given the blessed privilege to understand the value of his own soul. Which in return allows him to see the value that is strategically resting in the lives of others.
When people try to take that privilege away from someone who is longing to experience real change, they are actually agreeing for the soul to stay bound in a real form of bondage. And it is that particular bondage that manipulated him into showing disrespect to the laws that help to protect and preserve his life and the lives of others. We have a life by giving back life.
