I think they both are telling truths and lies. I do think he wasn't a good person to work with based on the fact that all the movie staff are not following him on social media and nobody has spoken up to defend him. That happened before Blake said a word publicly. Say what you want about Blake. I think there's something not okay with him.
I think they're both shady for different reasons. It sounds like Blake was way too aggressive about taking over the film and that she used whatever was going on with Justin on set as ammo to help her get the film that she wanted.
When it comes to the SH claims, people are writing them off because of that leaked slow dance scene. I agree that that was not SH. However, I suspect that she was on edge during that scene because of other things that had happened. Some of her complaints sound understandable. The nudity in the birth scene was weird, and the filming of it sounds frustrating. I would complain, too. I think that it was probably unfair to frame all of the issues on the set as SH, since that's a really loaded term and a career destroyer. Also, if you're going to use the threat of leaking your SH claims to get the cut of the film that you want and banish the director to the basement at the premiere, you take your win and move on.
I think that Baldoni was shady for hiring these online social engineering people. They sound shady as hell, and their texts (even setting aside the sarcastic one that was misreported by the NYT) read as damning. If he hadn't hired them, would the NYT article or the SH accusations even have come out? It seems like both he and Blake repeatedly escalated things with their actions and accusations. Involving the NYT and internet mobs is so over the top. If either one of them had stepped back at any point, I don't think that it would have come to this. If they could just get in a room with a mediator, they'd be doing everyone a favor, especially themselves.
I think this is crazy. A woman just had a baby & married, does a movie with another man and gets a free pass to kiss another man. I am not for a man that does cross the line , but I'm not for women who are married in real life and do movies with other men / women alike. She is touching him in the scene rubbing his head , hair behind his ear. Make sure you put in writing what crosses the line.
How ironic that the movie is titled "it ends with us" and how interesting and a twist of fate that in the movie, he's the 'perpetrator' while in real life she's become the perpetrator. He's literally going to end her BS by teaching her a massive lesson. This is turning tjd woman against men DV scenario on its head and showcasing what woman on men DV looks like. She is indeed a very good actress to portray the sweetness in her films when shes down right mean in real life.
