@chumps7974

I would like to see the org chart

@sammiesmith6690

Not surprised.

@techniciana1843

He hired the person for the job.

@cindyb2525

And yet these people come for Oprah, he’s no better!

He probably hired the white dude because he was better qualified and will probably get bigger business deals. Good job!

He's the kind of Black Man who's only Black when it suits him, if you know you know SMH

@williambrown6577

I think you're absolutely correct 💯

@dreemwurks

And this guy was appointed CFO of The Weather Group (Weather Channel), a subsidiary of Allen Media Group, not AMG itself. AMG has a Black CFO, Chris Malone.

@dreemwurks

This is truly an unfortunate piece by @DemetraKaye. I was initially going to jump on the usual bandwagon of bashing a so-called Black Billionaire, but then I decided to do some research on the Allen Media Group and found this, There are six senior executives that report to him (Allen) directly, and out of those, two are Black (including a Black Woman, Sydnie Karras (VP and Chief Accounting Officer) and Chris Malone (CFO Allen Media Group)
one Indian, Mark De Vitre, a Lebanese woman, Janice Arough (President of Network distribution), and of the two so-called White executives, one of them has been with the AMG for 27 years, Andrew Temple.
And for the record, in addition to providing greater visibility to HBCU athletics through his (Allen’s) business initiatives/negotiations, his lawsuit against Comcast helped bring about visible changes and initiatives that have provided greater access and visibility for minority business owners in the media and entertainment space.
This is an unfortunate piece and the least you could do is not be intellectually lazy and do even the slightest form of research.

@darwinmosley4890

Where’s the white women? Byron’s yet another negropeon !

@AndreRolle-c7k

Why the hell do you care who he hires as his executive, all this black woman is doing is gossiping on YouTube about this black billionaire hiring a white woman.

😢

@JeraldScott-cs9zy

Malcolm X said it a long time ago – Buffoonery !

@ernestmwape

Is Trump going to hire black African American if he wins the 2024 presidential race? He had only one, Ben Carson in his Cabinet

@Its_Easy7115

Yeah, he tried to get black people to rally all around him and y’all “didn’t”…as usual, when we ask our own people for support, they go “huh”🤷🏾‍♂️, and when we go to the other side for support, y’all go crying “trader” …make it make sense. (Should’ve rallied around him)

@alfredwhitejr2306

Karma

@mik7564

A lot of wealthy black people do this. I worked for one, but was a woman.

@trainelavalais6280

Byron Allen Folks has always been a token. This guy has always been a SELLOUT!! He was the token guy on Real People.

@Cuzlisasaidso

He's stupid and the next year the company will be the white man's watch and see

@jessiewyatt526

He got someone who can do the best job

Anybody surprised? 🤔

He's very astute, he hired whom he thinks is the most qualified.

@CurvyTribune

He's a very unfunny raccoon 🦝

@ghubbard7499

WOW! Thanks for sharing🙏🏽

@Rickbass2481

Stop hating on Byron Allen! You should be hating on the New Three Stooges, Clarence Thomas, Byron Donaldson, and Tim Scott 😎

@alhoward4099

I think black folks should stop attacking other black folks who are accomplishing their goals and be happy and supportive of their successes…SMH

@MelHouston-k2m

What do expect I expected nothing less

@hermanhorton5944

Well. Slow down lady. Hold it Just like when a. Black person applies hi for a job and sees problems in being hired White. People do it too Byron ain’t trying to get sued. Relax all that and the EEeOC can look. elsewhere for trouble 🚦🤩✅

@yoskielove8467

@Lakeda-bu1mi

Conservative boy, never amaze many.

@blackdiamond306

That's why I never support African-Americans that speak out only when they have felt the hand of Injustice. 🌄🦍☮️🖤

@cheickfall7399

While I do not know deeply or personally Byron Allen, about his choice I can say he is free to hire the most competent person in the room no matter his skin color. Not everything should be about race. If he was looking for someone with a specific resume with a different background, he is free to hire a white person if he indeed he is the most fit, the most competent.
