  1. What a pathetic way to talk to a President? And the superiority complex of this shitty reporter? As an Indian, I respect Irfaan Ali ji. We have had to deal with such condescending behaviour from West too. Now India is rising just like Guyana is and now these people are astonished when we talk about our perspective.

  2. He’s referring to the Iwokrama Forest which is actually only 1,435 sq miles, which is not nearly as large as England or Scotland. No idea where he got that stat, Guyana is also one of the least densely populated countries in the world so it shouldn’t be a surprise much of it is forested with a population of only 800k to the UK’s 60+ million.

  3. He won't dare ask that of oil rich Middle Eastern countries or USA. Not even to mention how much of the UK's fortune comes from stealing resources which also released a lot of carbon over the years. Hypocrites!
