Distance is on point!!!! To give perspective on how hard this game is… To be within the best, your approach proximity to the hole has to be under 15 ft. Keep grinding!!!!! I will be happy the day I break par.
Dewd, there’s nothing technically wrong with your putting stroke, its textbook left hand low, the only thing really is your head bobbles ever so slightly during the stroke & you tend to peak early, besides that it’s 💰⛳️. But SO SO much of putting (& golf in general) can NOT be measured like confidence, imagination & reaction are crucial for playing your best. What I’ve learned in over 20 years of playing this game competitively is some people have perfect strokes, speed control & read greens well but just barely miss putts on the edge all day long. That was very much me in my younger years, super good tee to green, very high GIR stats, hitting any shot on command flush but would 2 putt too often for par instead of dropping birds & eagle. I was never a bad putter but now I’m a great putter and the big difference wasn’t anything mechanical, in fact it was the opposite, my mental approach. There’s a reason that trending heavily with the best players in the world is simply setting up & going quickly, just reacting to the putt rather than trying to overthink them, that’s also the reason when you just walk up to a 5-10 footer and hit it they often drop. We practice really hard for many hours as golfers training our minds & bodies what to do, our brains know how to it but they can also screw us up big time by trying to control every aspect of the stroke, steer the ball & overcomplicate the rudimentary motion of putting, you gotta just let go & react. Take all the time you want reading the greens but when it’s time to go don’t hesitate, take the shot. like when someone throws something at you without you knowing “think fast” & you catch it with almost zero time to process what is happening, you just reacted & are running off your athletic instincts, you know how to catch & you do it perfectly without a single thought or hesitation. Getting out of your own way is both the 🔑 to playing your best golf & also the most difficult aspect of golf to master. Many people have it until you put some pressure on them, others thrive under pressure. The people who struggle under pressure are the ones who are afraid of success, overly focused on how they look & their machanics, very defensive, etc VS the players who are the best under pressure aren’t thinking about their swing, they’re in the zone, simply “hitting to the picture” as Earl Woods would say. The mental state you need for playing competitively & going low are super similar, it’s almost a state of thoughtlessness. Countless champions have described weeks they won as a blur where they felt very calm, they just hit 1 shot at a time meaning don’t worry about anything else besides the shot at hand, they said it felt very easy because they’d just set up and go. Tiger has said he doesn’t remember many of his best shots because he was essentially blacked out by just letting his subconscious mind take the wheel and just react to the picture he would imagine. Also they’re not going to all go in, From 10 feet, the tour 1 putt percentage is 40%, 23% from 15 feet, 15% from 20 feet, 7% from 30 feet, 4% from 40 feet, 3% from 50 feet and 2% from 60 feet, so when they don’t drop oh well, make the next one & Hogan said something along the lines of “In a great round you’re lucky to hit 3 perfect shots, golf is a game of misses”, which also means it’s largely a game of expectanc seeing as high majority of shots aren’t perfect. Those 2 things completely changed my putting game, simply reacting & acceptance. The one other thing I’ve always had and have heard other great putters describe similarly is when I’m putting my best I can see an invisible line on the green like in a TW video game almost, over it I’m looking at the ball but can still see that line in my peripherals that I wanna roll the ball down. Golf is by far the most mentally demanding sports out there, all the physical talent in the world is only half the battle, at elite levels every the player is physically capable of hitting every shot on command at the range but do they have what it takes between the ears to do it when it counts? Get out of your own way, See it, roll it & hole it.🤘🧙♂️
Maybe you need a calm song in your head or a pray, to keep your thougts off, and stay on your confort mind zone. Something you can repeat . Specially for putting.
I suggest learning to keep 10% in the bag. That 90% swing is the swing of the gods, and it's known for accuracy. And you keep a little in the tank for when you need extra yardage. Took me until I was 35 to figure out that slow is smooth and smooth is fast. It all translates to better iron shots and "easier putts".
The fair way hits to the green is what kills ya. You hit it 200 yards to green from the drive which is crazy. Try easing up on the drive, then 3wood or hybrid the fairway, to chip up and small putt. The par 3’s and 5’s are where you birdie 😉
Wassup Evan love your stuff and your story. Your ball striking is off the charts all you need is to dial in the putting and you got a chance for the tour. If you haven’t already try aimpoint putting, it has really helped me a lot. Remember drive for show putt for dough
Idk if it’s just me because I’m not quite as good as you but it seems like you have an arc on your putts on the take away but not the strike which might be what’s hurting your putts. Not really advice but maybe something to check out
“Just think if we get the putter rolling” brother that thing is SO far from rolling, putting alone will keep you from going pro forever at this rate
bro really thinks he’s on the fringe from 362 out lol so fake
Just imagine if you could putt! Haha

Jesus loves you
I’m in the same boat with my putter.
Love the swing like how you get your left shoulder over your right foot great for power and solid impact
FRAUUUUDDDDDDD
Gotta get that putting stroke under control. Looks like it’s not even striking the ball properly. Good luck .
Fuck the haters. You’re a dawg. Keep doin it
Drive for show, putt for dough
Sheesh… hole 8 is a monster
Your putting is horrible for a guy in tour qualifying events. You should definitely focus on that instead of making YouTube videos.
this guys sucks at putting

That’s my 1 golf rant for the day 😅🍻
Throw that putter away you miss everything
Putters love hate relationship.

Learn how to putt
Im rooting for you

Is this Reunion?
Stay on it. You have a great attitude. Become the short game master and your dreams will come true! Good luck.
If you werent putting from 40ft everytime it might be different
Pars dont hurt.
Stop being result-oriented w the confidence w your putting. You are a great putter. Be reactive and don't force!

Goddamn how do you hit it that hard and pure

Gotta focus on putting. That killed in the WM qualifier. Not sure if it’s a mechanical thing or misreads. Gotta stay in the fight. Never give up.
What course is this?
