  1. That''s one big challenge about travelling, some countries are so beutiful and have a lot of things to offer in terms of tourism but Language barrier can be a huge challenge. I have been wanting to visit Brazil but i cant speak a word in Portuguese

  2. Have you been in Paris? Probably France is more tourist than Cabo Verde there you will probably have to know some French because they don't give a fuc* about English language.
Come on, please learn Portuguese BTW

  3. You saying you hated Cape Verde because they don’t speak English especially in 2023 makes you same so entitled! They are on an island for a reason. You didn’t have to be there for 5 years

  4. Nope nope, my country does not need all the extra modern bs that is contaminating people’s minds and well being. There is a reason why we call it “No Stress”.

  5. As a Nigerian you went to the United States and you felt strange and hate the fact that most people doesnt speak yoruba your own native language? Does that make sense to you? Are they from your country to speak your language?? A lot of people have tried to correct you in the comment section but i noticed you are a very rude girl and you dont listen to advice or corrections. You feel like you know all. Learn to accept your mistakes it costs nothing. Why dont you go to China or Russia and complain about them not speaking English just because they are one of the Major continent leaders? Btw I'm Nigerian like you and i can tell you are some middle class or rich persons daughter that lacks respect and are rude. And you putting hate instead of saying things you didnt like when living in cape verde shows how ignorant and uneducated you are to not know hate is such a strong word.

  6. Nice video. However, it's very arrogant of you to hate that people do not speak English. Like, really? For a black woman, you sound very much like a white entitled one. And yes, we prioritise our people because it's what a country should do. I would seriously rethink this video. Nearly everything you said was arrogant and rude. You left Nigeria because you didn't want to shower with a bucket? Dear Lord. You need to grow up.

  7. It's not the natives of cape Verde who need to change, it's the mindset of those people visiting the island they speak THEIR language for a reason, if you take time to visit them, one must be more open to their way of life and language, this western mentality of everyone must speak English is disrespectful. They have made a choice to hold on to their tradition you should respect it

  8. you sound ignorant, saying its 2022 or whatever year, learn English, you are in another country learn their language. respect their customs and educate YOURSELF on that!

  9. My family are creole mixed with everything u can think of born in Usa in we can't speak any of our language so we are just consider just American 😂😂😂its crazy we dont know our native tongue but if u see us u will be like yea Creoles😂😂😂

  10. Why did you waste your time making this useless video.
"I didn't like cape Verde because they don't speak inglish".😂😂😂 The dumbest affirmation I've heard. So think if you go to live in a foreign country, the natives have to speak inglish, so you can understand you or vise versa!? Wake up girl. If someone goes to France, Italy, Spain, they should at least try to learn their language, at least the more useful words.

  11. You are doing a hard work trying to speak like that. Learn to be who you are. Speak your Nigerian English with pride, your audience will always understand you. Originality makes it interesting.

  12. First of all I’m not from Cape Verde, but who you to come and judge Cape Verde like you came from Kardashian family, acting all boujee like your shit don’t stink. I have no Idea what are you talking about no water in Cape Verde. I’m from United States Of America, but I’ve just came from Cape Verde couple months ago, an I had a Blast out there with a the beautiful woman’s, fancy Restaurants with great, great food so delicious and all, specially when I was eating Lobsters everyday because that’s my favorite. So anyway I don’t know where the hell you were that you’re here saying all these bull craps about Cape Verde. You probably was broke put there and have no money for 5 stars Hotel, and you here judging off the hook. If that was the case Akon wouldn’t invested in my country, and he wouldn’t stay extra weeks in Cape Verde. You’re probably jealous because they have a beautiful woman’s that looks way better than you, or you probably wasn’t getting any attention, and now here you are throwing jabs in a beautiful Cape Verde Island.

  13. Thanks for the honest take. I would be interested in knowing what would be your first choice for a low budget option for Americans and Western Europeans looking to escape?

  14. Girl please you don’t like it just don’t go nobody is going to learn English just to accommodate you, to seat here and talk about Cabo Verde 🇨🇻 and make us look bad and say we don’t have good food and it’s not a good place to go 👀 stay in your country
