The 3 man laws that I always followed and pass down to my sons are: a man should be: Resilient, Resourceful, and Responsible.
Resilient: When things happen in life you have 15-20 minutes to dwell on it and then move on and 24-48 hours to get over it
Resourceful: When your faced with a problem you need to able to weigh all of your options and make the best decision and stick with it
Responsible: This is self-explanatory, ie.. Take care of your finances, family, children, yourself etc..
The best I've hears about being a man of your word: "When you make promises, you build hope. When you deliver on your promises, you build trust."

By far the best channel I subscribe to on Youtube. My father never talked to me about these subjects anr now I use Jeff's advice to augment the conversation when I talk to teenage son.
One major rule is that a man should dramatically increase his income so he can earn at least low six figures a year. Although money is not everything, it should be one of your top priorities.
