  1. Zimbabwe's mining sector is highly diversified, with close to 40 different minerals. The predominant minerals include platinum group metals (PGM), chrome, gold, coal, lithium, and diamonds. Why do folks think Europe and America were trying to stop them from having their own currency! Europe and America have nothing backing their currency and their wealth depends on minerals from Africa.

  2. This new governor is lying already. The president went to the reserve bank 1 day before this press conference and found only 1.1 tonnes of gold in the vault 😂😂… Where did he get the 2.5 tonne figure?

  3. Global Trends such as de-dolarization, downstream industrialization, tech independency, etc… must be kept rolling…

such that, not so easily bullied by those hegemonic nations…

  4. What these racist idiots don't understand is that a county's currency is reliant on economic and political stability and functioning. They have destroyed property rights and their economy through their own racist lies and ideologies….

  5. This is diverting the attentions from the real cause, which is corruption and government`s generalized bad financial management. Zimbabwe is suffering from a disease that got the majority of african governments – economic inefficiency, spendism, luxury for popliticians, generalized corruptions, lack of long term approach, etc. So, we all know where this is going to end – the sewage!

  6. Production and exporting and growing the economy. This is going nowhere. It 4:02 the currency, but production and high economic growth and activities. You can change the names 100 times, but if counting what is underground and can't it to the buyers, you're wasting your time.
I believe this message is meant to deceive Zim citizens.

  7. Any currency that is backed by gold is also doomed to fail like gold. Gold is one of the most manipulated commodities, with paper futures selling more than the actual metal itself. Its become fool's gold. Best option is bitcoin. Uncensorable, global, limited supply, secure and portable.
