First we fly from Tanzania to Zanzibar, then rent a car and visit the absolute highlights in this video: Nungwi Beach, Paye, Stone…

I live in Zanzibar but we can't afford to go to beach, I go every year once we leave village (fuel expensive) really love.

Many love from Zanzibar glad you enjoy the island 🙂 We will go July to the beach for one week and now saving for it 🙂

The hotel last worked at denied staff to enter ocean it was only for tourist. Just in case you wonder why hotel staff never swims etc. not allowed

  3. what you dont tell the people…paradise ends where the beach ends…behind the Hotels there is poverty…slumlike little villages with people who have nothing from all the tourists…i wont visit Zanzibar again…

  4. The family vlog "RICHTUNG HIMMELBLAU" shows a different picture of Zanzibar. Why don't you say a word about the environmental destruction of the island?

Zanzibar is one big rubbish dump. It's disgusting and very depressing. Only the immediate surroundings and the beach areas of the "better" hotels are somewhat cleared of rubbish. If you walk 20-30 metres away from the beach, two rows further on, there is rubbish, plastic, motor oil bottles and nappies everywhere. Just sad, depressing how the environment is treated.

  5. Hi Wout, geweldige video! Kan niet wachten om er over paar maanden heen te gaan.
Waar ik erg benieuwd naar ben hoe erg is het met de muggen en of andere ziektes denk jij dat het een “must” is om je in te enten?
    Alvast bedankt voor je reactie.
