It was cheaper 9 years ago..now this mix cost so much in dar and znz..its hard to even enjoy street foods anymore in tanzania

Hey so the Pani Puri is just fried little crispy dough circles, the sweet chutney you tasted was Indian sweet tamarind chutney, also with green chutney, with is ginger, green hot peppers and cilantro. The "pani" (water) itself is mint, lemon and chilli (I could drink the stuff, it's heavenly). Hope this helped!
