  1. How can she say that neoliberal Reagan and Clinton style politics aren't the establishment? Does she think Bernie Sanders is the president? Or is she saying fascists like Trump have already won? I don't understand, but it's pretty obvious to even a casual observer that Biden and Obama both have similar politics to Clinton.

  2. That's too bad she supports the war in Ukraine. "It is the cheapest possible way for the US to enhance its security. The fighting is being done by the Ukrainians, they're the people who are being killed. The US and Europe are supplying them weapons." – she is literally saying the loss of Ukrainian lives is a cheap way for the USA to enhance it's security, and yet she wants everyone to help perpetuate this war. Just really sad, and Stewart does nothing too push back.

  3. What is barely if ever mentioned is how the fringe Left Blue MAGA prefers Putin. Defends his invasion. And invasion of the country of Georgia. My assumption is that their media has them aligned – as usual – with anything against the Democratic party.

  4. The US wants the Ukraine war, they are destabilizing Europe as much as, if not more than, Putin is. Otherwise they wouldn't have told Zelensky to walk away from negotiations in March 2022.

  5. Everyone swooning over Jon Stewart instead of evaluating the disturbing content of industrial war complex propaganda spewed so casually by his guest is what is exactly wrong with your audiences.

  6. 9:25 yesss this has been what I have been saying since day one. Supporting Ukraine isn’t about helping the little guys it’s about telling Russia to stay in their lane without having to do so. This is exactly why I can’t strand most Americans. And Canadians alike to that matter. On top of all that bs it also keeps China in check. The stupidity of some ppl are beyond me sometimes.

  7. Why can't you stop saying Anti-Woke and instead say the quiet part out loud which is Putin and the GOP both stand for White Christian Nationalism? The "White" part excludes brown, yellow or red people, and the "Christian" part means no Jews, Muslims, Buddists, etc. as well as anyone they deem anti-Christian like LGBTQs and Atheists. C'mon….it's really simple. You don't even need to say anti-woman's rights because it's baked in to White Christian Nationalism.

  8. Did she say the quiet part out loud??? "It's the cheapest way." "We're giving them weapons. They are the ones dying." Foul and ghoulish. Former IMF economist??? Typical MIC-NATO aristocratic elitist ruling class ideology, whilst 10s of thousands of peasants are sacrificed for the imperial empire. No push back from Stewart. We know why he came back in an election year. The U.S., NATO, and Isr@3l are the axis of evil.

  9. I do agree we spend TOO MUCH on nato, but we need to have a descaling plan where over time we simply match our european allies and encourage them to spend.

The U.S can likely invade Europe alone just because they spend so little. It needs to be more equal.

  10. Jon I have spent my entire career as a US Navy Corpsman or Nurse, I want to be sure my kids have a better world than we did as old farts. Thank for your not just saying you care about the common person, but actually caring.

  11. Even if you don't care about europe, and only about america : how much money USA makes, selling its weapons, just because it goes with the nato defense promise, and US made NATO standards.

How does USA defends its interest, with bases all over the world. Why would it keep them, if it's not for local protection ?

If there is no US in nato, why should we buy your weapon systems anymore ? Most European ones are just better.

How USA would keep its influence in trades, economy, culture, etc. Do you realise we are not in 90s anymore ? There is no USA and the rest of the world.

Will americains destroy their one main industry, and most of its interests, just because there is some kind of trump cult, with simple speeches for simple minds ?

  12. She's entitled to her opinion but I disagree… I think he can do the job he's been doing it…. The tough part the physical part is actually running for president….

  13. Culture wars are just a distraction to cover up the rich privileged corporations mercilessly feeding of the struggling working/middle classes via government Influence peddling and lobbying.

  14. So she admits that it is cheap for the US to fight Russia because it is Ukrainians who are dying while the military industrial complex celebrates massive gains and Jon gives her the Tucker-Putin softball treatment.
    Got cha!

  15. The only jawdropping part of Jon’s interview with Zanny Minton, is her unwavering support for more deaths of Ukrainians. She sounds just like Lindsay Graham….advocating for more U. S. Funding….so that Ukranians can keep fighting…..and dying. What a warmonger
