Zannier Hotels Omaanda | A boutique safari lodge in Namibia (full tour + game drives)

Join me on a tour in 4K of Zannier Hotels Omaanda, a beautiful 5-star lodge close to Namibia’s capital Windhoek. Built in traditional Owambo architecture, the lodge is set in the heart of an enormous wildlife conservancy reserve. The video includes a couple of game drives (with close-up sightings of lions & rhinos).

  1. I was in Springbok, not too far from Namibia in 1999 during August. Of course I had never been to the southern hemisphere before and it was quite a shock to find out how damn cold it was in August! I don't think people realize that some parts of Africa get cold. Beautiful country in South Africa, Namibia and Tanzania. I wouldn't mind staying there. It beat the shack we were staying in at the time. I worked as a deckhand and out boss was funding rangers and botanical research for Goegapp, so we were sent there to collect flower samples amd some hides from Springboks. Thankfully the hides kept us warm. We were staying in a canvas tent with a tiny stove inside and it was 1°C at night. We had long sleeve shirts, pants and that was it. This was before the internet was everywhere and cell phones. We had no idea.

  3. This is beautiful to be honest I can feel like this is mini holiday for I’m already there while I’m watching this hopefully one day I will visit here inshallah
Thanks for sharing this tremendous joy of beautiful Namibia 🇳🇦

  4. Great video but having followed you for years this is jumping the shark.

All those animals just trying to get by on not much water or food and compare that to this luxury hostel and its guests.

I got a bad feeling about the morals over this video, which I don't normally do on your vids.

Putting luxury 5 star hotels in the wilderness just seems wrong and sums up humans and their never ending consumption in May 2022.

Maybe do a side channel, The Luxury Travel Expert on a budget ?? Probably get you more views.

  5. Sir your videos on Namibia are so compelling that i feel obligated to visit this beautiful place.I live in South Africa yet i never new about the beauty of Namibia until i saw your vlogs.

  6. This video remember me to the experience when i stay in the desert close to Ayers Rock or uluru in center of Australia where the use of water is very limited at the resort. The name of the resort is desert oak resort hotel.

  7. A great location for 48 hours to unwind. It must be a challenge to maintain the place, the logistics of procuring food, water, convincing people to work in such a remote place.

    Best wishes from Mumbai
