  1. Wow…. what a horrible movie😂 1:37:54 of complete nothingness. .. I watch a ton of movies, and there's very few that I've seen that i would consider a complete waste of time. Unfortunately, this movie is #1 on that list😂😭 If your reading comments deciding if you should watch it or not, I strongly recommend not..

  2. I watched this for free on Tubi. It was pretty good. At least she stayed put and didn't wander off looking for something better, she had it made there. I felt bad for Mr Loomis killing her brother and not telling her. He gave her permission to be with Caleb? If they had possibly made love, their bond would have been deeper. Once Caleb showed up well…. Mr Loomis told Ann he loved her while he was drunk, not in love, just love her. She wanted more in the beginning and he didn't. She didn't say it back to him, maybe he was waiting for the same. I believe she loved him too but just not romantically. You could tell when he told her about Caleb she ran off looking for him.I also believe he killed Caleb. If she believed he went the next town she could have seen if he did,she had her own suit. Guess we will never know

  3. It's different from the book, but that's not unusual.

The opening of the film felt quiet and sheltered, with a settled contentment from Ann… it was peaceful.

Then Mr Loomis showed up, and almost instantly, the film felt creepy. He wasn't right, he felt broken from the insanity that grows from utter isolation… isolation that steals away all of a soul's hope.

This wasn't a film about falling in love or a love triangle. It wasn't even about surviving an apocalypse…. This was a film about the fear of never wanting to be alone and where your mind and actions will take you to prevent it.

For the type of film this is, it was good. It's not my preferred entertainment when it comes to film, I must admit… That being said, the acting is superb, and it's worth watching… if this is your type of film.

  4. It's a pretty good movie! And John is a very good man. And what Ann did to both man that cause confussion and conflict to all them is really sad. Ann and Caleb deserve one another. John is to good and deserve better.

  5. Aside from the opening concept and the title, this bears no resemblance to the book. Simply by adding a second male character, the writers show how little regard they had for the book (like, the title MEANS something). Completely different theme, plot, tone, etc. And of course, a love triangle.

  6. Another "last person/small group of humans alive" story.. yawn. It's always the same theme: human nature sucks, people suck, probably a good thing all the humans are dead, right?
Plus, there's zero chance of repopulation in this story so why would I care at all about these people who will have no impact on the future. At least in a story like 'Raised by Wolves' there's a chance for humanity to continue so every event and individual person and relationship has potentially huge implications: will our species end? or will we continue and who are the founders of this new stage of humanity?

  7. This film is about the insecurities of the black male character, and reading the comments, it’s pretty accurate. He murders the white girls brother and acts like it’s his house. A metaphor for our times. The white guy/girl are clearly into each other but the black man cannot stand that.
