I live in the Eaton fire zone. I have lived in this area since 1960. I have never ever seen winds like I did the night of the fire. I was forced to evacuate. The firefighters stopped the fire, a half a block from my house. God bless ‘em!
Altadena looks like a war zone. I personally know friends and businesses that are gone… Ashes. Altadena was a unique city and those that lived close to the mountains loved nature and that’s why they lived there. They were free thinkers and now Newsom wants to build back bigger and better. That is with a lot of condominiums and apartments so that the developers can make big money. They are trying to get rid of single-family dwellings.
Newsom is singing, a big song, but most residents aren’t buying it. Sad, sad sad😢 As a local, I can tell you there is a lot more politics going on with the rebuilding then you can imagine. There are new building laws that prevent many from building back as the costs are so outrageously high 💸💸💸 …by design😮.
