This is probably the only city anyone would want to go to in Togo. Togo is one of the poorest nations in the world. I was a mission there a few years and as a nurse the hospitals there were cesspools with no ideas of how to stop infections.

Lome is so lovely with abundance of food and affordable hotels. There are different & diverse merchants from african and asian countries sell at Adawlato market known as Assigame meaning the great market in mina, the local language spoken from the south to north by the majority of the people in Togo
