  1. People underestimate the importance of a good night's sleep. Just do a google search on the 4 phases of sleep & pay particular attention to the deep sleep phases, phases 3 & 4 (REM sleep). Deep sleep is critical for cellular repair, proper immune functioning, & the secretion of hormones that build our muscles and bones. Sleep also helps with appetite control. Sleep deprivation throws hormones like ghrelin & leptin out of whack turning a person into a face stuffing cookie 🍪 monster 👹- or cake 🎂 monster 👹 if that's your preference. 😢

  2. I have a bad habit of laying down with tv on but I set sleep on tv to go off. For some reason if I’m not dead tired I can’t lay in silence cuz my mind will be racing and toss turn! But I do feel better with at least 7 hours of straight sleep.
