The Bono Empire, according to historical records, was established in the 11th century, while Mansa Musa’s empire emerged later, in the 13th century. Lawyer, please thoroughly verify the facts about them chasing the Akan people on horseback to the region that is now Ghana.

@EmmanuelAppiah-is1sn

Please can you kindly let Lawyer gives us history about when Christianity was brought to our land because this shows Christianity even came after the white came abd settled here. Thank you

I cant stop listening to this man. I intentionally buy data to listen to him. Wao! What a gift to Ghana.

@ikemensmedia3777

Wow wow I clap for this man

@ghanaman001

This brilliant man has somehow missed a lot of points but is definitely informed. I feel the twi did not permit him to articulate the intricate details of the origin story. "GANA" was the name of one of the Kings within the capital of Wagadugu, i.e., Koumbi Saleh. Meaning "warrior king." Arab travellers used the names of Kings to reference kingdoms of old.

Techiman was not the first. The first state was Bonomanso, led by Nana Asaman, who led akans into the wilderness from mossi settlements as descendants of those that fed the Mediterranean area because of Almoravid invasion and forced conversion to islam.

We, the akan, were already practising (AKOM) as a religious faith. Before Asante and other states formed official titles, towns we're identified by independent states/entities and clans. However, Bono was already established as a state, which birth catalysts for many civil wars, which contributed to the uniting of Asante and other tribes.

Jamaica is not of fante origin, even though Fante we're the first amongst Akans to be taken to Jamaica by means of deceptive capture (Koromatse, later Maroons of Blue mountains,Jamaica) amongst other enslaved africans. The root word is Xamayca (pronounced Zama-ika), which is indigenous to Taino/Arowak Indians.

So interesting. Thanks Lawyer and host.

@isaactinkorang3831

This man is a clueless scholar.

@ananseqweku6072

And to add the Guans weren't primitive people just as he said cos just as certain things that were introduced to us like carrot, cucumber and cabbage weren't our indigenous plants or foods & becos of that we don't have local words for them, the Okere clan which is found in Akuapim and part of the Guans call knife " atsi" and cutlass " fowu" and this is not Asante, fante, bono or akyem language. So set the record straight

@ananseqweku6072

Point of correction the Akuapim weren't slaves pls they were a free state where people from various places were accepted. So the name came from the word "akuw apim" a thousand group & some also believe the name came from after defeating the ashantis after the "doodowa" war or the Akatamanso war. Just because they were peaceful people whose rights & peace were being infriged upon didn't make them slaves. That was why they went to seek help from the akyems. And the akyems introduced to them the chieftancy system and they became 1 of the most powerful clans in Ghana defeating even the then powerful king of the ewes called " okoto pkanpkan". So Akuapims were never slaves.

@maryk8621

Very great man

@asheryoung7061

I've been working on some huge historical projects like this to reference African history, especially the ancient Ghana empire. It's almost done but lacks such facts. It's bigger and more complicated than I can comprehend but I've been looking for this to enrich the story. Love ❤️ this

Long live law FRIMPONG ❤
