Wrap It Up – The Finale | Healthy Relaxed Hair | How I Wrap My Hair Now That It’s Longer

Hey, guys! In this requested video, I do a “how to” on wrapping your hair and give an update on how I wrap my relaxed hair at night now that it’s longer. There have been a few minor changes in my technique, but most has stayed the same. So, if you’re ready, let’s go!

Enjoy and thanks for watching! ♥️

  1. I wear wigs a lot because I sell wefted hair extensions and wigs. Since I don’t really know how to style my pixie cut, I decided to wrap my pixie every time a wash it. I only have styled when I go to the salon to have it relaxed. I have medium-textured relaxed hair, so it does not take many products to make my hair to” do what it do!”

  2. I wish more people would see this video. I’ve been wrapping my hair since the 90s. We really learned how to preserve our styles without heat back in the day.

There’s really no need to do that whole daily “moisturizing and sealing” routine when you wrap your hair at night. Like you said, it helps to distribute our hair’s natural moisturizer (sebum).

I’ve noticed that it also keeps my roots smooth when I’m getting close to my retouch appointment (every 12 weeks).

  3. DOLCE!! DOLCE!! Long time no see!! Your hair looks so full and even more beautiful these days.

I ran into a few hiccups last fall, so what I did was start over back to neck length, and then I temporarily went ombre red head using clairols.
It's a miracle I even have hair on my head at this point from touch ups and coloring 😂😂, but when you're experienced, the smarter and stronger you are with your hair.

Then I got tired of the red and made the attempt go back to my high school blonde look (little did I know how stubborn red hair is, trying to get rid of it). So then I ran into another malfunction which ended up being a blessing and brought me right back to brunette. Lately I've been walking around with my protective style (cornrows on each side of my head with my straight hair in the form of a Mohawk going down the middle). Lots of people in public LOVE it and it feels like a style from the 80s.
So that's my update. I've had to ask God for a lot of "hair forgiveness" so he can let me continue my journey 😂🤣 but it's all coming back!!

  4. Hi Miss Dolce! Thankyou for showing us your wrapping method. I am definitely gonna follow each step. I especially gonna use the opposite side of that scarf so I won't get any creases! I will let ya know how it works out 😄

  5. From one good wrapper to another, I know a pro when I see one, and that's one hell of a good wrap, lol. You definitely know what you're doing. 💜

  6. I have natural hair and I don't intend to relax any time soon, so this is irrelevant to me. But your hair is so pretty and shiny I had to tune in! Thanks for sharing!

  7. Dolce, you always give such good demonstrations…I still utilize your pin curl demo to this day, so precise you cover all bases. Thank you for your time and patience in sharing. Blessings

  8. Wow, I haven't watched your videos for a couple of weeks. Last month has been very challenging, but I'm glad that's behind me. I hope you're fine! ❤🖤❤🖤

When I was way younger, I used to wrap my hair and head, every single night.

Now, I hardly do that, only when my braids are fresh 😊

  9. Hi Dolce thank you so very much for showing us how you wrap your hair. I loved watching. I will try this. I enjoy your videos cause what I see is that you grew your hair so long without all the protective styles. It’s good to enjoy the fruits of your works. Your hair is beautiful. Thanks again 😊

  10. Hello Dolce 👋🏽 Loving that "wrap" technique. I use the one that is a fishnet/mesh type material, but will check into the satin smooth ones.
