The only experience israel has had since 73 was against militias, never an organized military, it's more like a super advanced military police right now, something that the idf always complains about. They never encircled the Egyptian forces that crossed the canal, these forces held the line unbothered and unscathed, the idf forces that crossed the canal were very minimal and their positions untenable. The Egyptian military has participated in the Libyan civil war, the Sinai insurgency, the Yemeni houthi rebellion, and lately the civil war in Sudan. All of which you are clueless about.

They can't even clear sinai of terrorists after all these years what are they gonna do against a real army. I wouldn't bet on them. We have seen a number of times already what middle east armies augmented by modern weapons can achieve, ie not very much.

And if theres one thing we know from whats still going on in ukraine, is that you need strong long term resupply and maintenance capabilities for all this modern kit or its quickly useless.
