World marathon record holder Kelvin Kiptum dies in road accident


Kenyan police say the 24-year-old long-distance runner lost control of the car he was driving and veered into a ditch before eventually crashing into a large tree.

  2. I will never understand why the best of us die, like this young man, who was destined to probably break the 2 hour mark at the Olympics, while some of the worst scumbags still walk on this earth

  3. Such a massive shock. Kelvin apparently lost control of the car, left the road and travelled 60m before hitting the tree. Having seen the damaged car, it must have been travelling at speed to have caused that much damage. RIP 😢❤
