  1. Wow it’s great that after 80 years their are still people who lived to tell their story such a shame it had to come to that so many lives lost god bless those who are still with us

  2. This man, along with all war veterans and soldiers, is a hero. Even if he thinks he was just “doing his job,” he is still a hero.

As both of my parents had dementia; my mom getting it in her 70s and my dad getting it in his 80s, I’m so thrilled to see a 99 year old person whose mind is still so clear and so lucid. God bless him. ♥️

  3. My great grandpa Sam wheeler was their for the d day landings thank God he made it back home after the war he received the bronze star and 2 purple hearts no words can express my appreciation and the respect I have for all our veterans and allied veterans ur all true heros 🇪🇺🇺🇲🇫🇷🇬🇧🗽🗽🗽

  4. Joey Bidet crying as though he himself was there back in the day. (He wasn't of course, as he was a cowardly draft dodger who made excuses to avoid service). Joe Bidet!

  5. Звідкіля у європі намалювались ветерани 2 світової війни? Роблять по принципу росії? Ряжені ветерани? Чи тилові канцелярські помазані криси-орденоносці? А кажуть шапіто є тільки у росії.

  7. From where in Europe were the veterans of World War 2 painted? Do they do according to the Russian principle? Ragged veterans? Are the rear office anointed crisis-bearers? And they say that there is a tent only in Russia.

  8. D-day shows how important Zelensky should have got support last year. Putin has had more time to rearm and train better. Well done republicans

  9. Cpt.Miller in the movie "Saving Private Ryan" said this as he lay dying: "Earn this!". Let's not forget what these heroes fought for. Let's strengthen our democratic institutions and fight tyranny, oppression and racism wherever it may be found. We must earn every day what the Greatest Generation left for us as the most precious of inheritance.

  10. Sorry but Paris was liberated by the French civilian FFI & 2e Division Française Libre 2e DFL. But otherwise it's great to see the education of the young on WW2

  11. Thank-you for bringing this part of History to the FORE !! ~~ ALLIES ALL TOGETHER !! ~~ TOGETHER WE WILL STAND !!! ~~ FLYING AWAY,, BIDENS SPEACH AT THE END, WAS A GOOD ONE FOR ALL !! NOTHING BETTER, THAN THE OLD ADAGE, BEWARE OF THOSE THAT STRIVE TO DESTROY & SEPERATE, !!

  12. It’s unbelievable that we are talking about the D-day but we are forgetting the history .
We invited ukraine , but not Russia .
Ukraine was with the nazist and let’s remember when in the Canadian parliament zelensky stated that the nazist soldier was a hero .
The politicians are using the ignorance and lack of education of the people in order to change the history . Russia 🇷🇺 must be there , without Russia , today we would not celebrate the D-day

  13. With all do respect to the allies, especially USA because i loved America, i know its D-Day , but why have you not comomorate the Russians as well , i think the Russian veteran deserve honor just as much as all they men are , look into the history people, the whole has been viewing the Russians as evil from the beginning till today , no wonder why they are acting like one most of the time , we never look at some positive things about them but negative, there was a saying , if you treat someone with negative behavior well negative it is will be the results, if you treated someone with positive well positive it is will be the out come …

  14. WWII was a terrible war! The Amerixan Civil WE was the worst war this country has ever fought! In 4 years 1861-1865 over 750,000 soldiers combined losses of both the North and South! Antietam/ Sharpsburg, MD September 17,1862 -23,000 died in a single day. Gettysburg, PA July 1-3 ,1863 53,000 died in three days! I think ALL soldiers from the American Revolution to present day would agree with UNION General William T Sherman . He Saud this to General US Grant "WAR IS HELL!" He said that to Grant shortly after the bloody battle of Shiloh! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

  15. My Great -Uncle was a Staff Sgt. in the US Army. He died on a beach in Anzio, Italy February 19,1944! He was definitely NOT A LOSER! My Uncle quit high school and joined the US Navy! He was 17 and stationed on an Ammunition ship December 7,1941! He was proud member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association Philadelphia chapter! And he was NOT A LOSER! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🫡🫡🫡

  16. I found out what 'Fascist' means today, so wiki page says about those fighting in 1930's Spainish Civil War. *Goebbels came up with calling one side 'Nationalist', the otherside were referred to as 'Fecciosos', meaning 'Sectarian'. As is typical in English, making it easy to say- 'Fascist'. No wonder they don't like the Plebs to know the real meanings of words.
