This is the result of dissolving a great team and starting afresh. McCauley, Kalu, Chidom would make this a formidable team. Besides, the new coach needs to improve the defending. We allowed the U.S. to easily execute plays. Coach Oris Hughley used to execute a full court press and force the U.S. to give up the ball.
SI doesn’t understand the word defense or helping out a teammate on defense. Just in the few replays, there were many occasions a US defender got beat and SI didn’t rotate over to help. DT and SI should not be on the Olympic team. Too many better players in the W to represent not only the country but the game.
Why is Nigeria not doing everything to get Arike Ogunbowale to represent them. She is Nigerian and she's the best point guard in the world. So why is she not playing for Nigeria baffles me
