Honestly, I don’t understand how the Ghanaians thought they were going to win. Nigeria has dominated the events for years, NIgeria previously held the African record, before South Africa broke it in 2019. Nigeria is the only African country to win medals in the Olympics in the 4x100m for both men and women. The women have dominated it for the past 20 years. Go look at history. Why are you Ghanaians trying to make it a rivalry, this is one man show. No one talks about Ghana when it comes to sports in Africa, especially track and field. Yeah, you may have one it before, but that doesn’t mean you are a force.
FYI, this is not even Nigeria’s A team – Ofili and Chukwuma for the women were absent. On the men’s side Ashe and Brume were also absent. So in other words, Nigeria beat you with the B team. This is not a competition, this is dominance.
