  1. In a few years we’ll be looking at the effects of all the makeup and glues that are seeping through our skin. Also, we are yet to see the effects of the fumes from acrylic nails and the whole fake nail industry.
At some point we have to take personal responsibility for our choices.

  2. Wow what a coincidence BLM
    😂
Now here comes the lawsuit for the creamy crack that y'all know is poison but continuously put in your hair
Lord please make it that they don't win just like reparations
J Cole told y'all love yourz

  3. Bravo! 👏🏾After we get these relaxer companies, we need to go for these synthetic hair and wig manufacturers! They put a lot of those toxic soup chemicals on packaged hair too! Fibroids, reproductive cancers are running rampant in our communities! Something needs to be done. This is a good start.

  4. Black women started relaxing their hair because they like it relaxed hair better than the Afro. Men also like relaxed hair better! I know the truth hurts. An Afro is okay on a Brother but not a Mother.

  5. This is the reason why as a cosmologist I left the business. Check out the lifespan of the cosmologist. I knew this before the study. African people are always getting the short end of the stick.

  6. This is awful. I stopped relaxing my hair in 2010 and my mother and some family members were so disappointed and in disbelief. It didn’t make sense to put such an irritating and extreme chemical over your brain just to have a look.

  7. Woman: "I learned my situation. It was endometrial cancer."

    Interviewer: "How did that feel?"

Woman should have responded, "Oh, just great!! It was wonderful news finding out it was cancer! That just made my day!!!

Unfreakingbelievable. I swear the questions they ask sometimes….🙄 SMH.

  8. I wish they would ban these treatments so we can be forced to embrace our beautiful natural hair. But i blame white supremacy for pushing their standards on us.

  9. I'm white but I tried a drug store relaxing kit once and those chemicals are so harsh even the mild kit severely damaged my hair. That can't be good for anyone's hair. Just love yourself as you are.

  10. Thank you to my Daddy! It was banned in my home. Now I have locs 13 yrs… everyone in my family is natural. Perms are a TABOO in my entire tribe. ❣️

  11. This could relate to almost every black woman in America as well as white women who get or have got hair relaxers. They all have a study linking to utero fibroid tumors in which I've had for years is there a lawsuit for that also.

  12. This is a great Video. This brings back painful memories which i have been enduring. My relationship of 5 years ended 3 months ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.

  13. 🎉There will be many lawsuits coming after the brow & lash lift companies too! It’s the same product but they’ve convinced women to use it on their faces!!!

  14. This is the effect of a African people being colonized by a society that forced European beauty standards on us. These women have been permanently scarred because this society doesn’t accept their natural selves as acceptable , professional or beautiful. Black women are ashamed or afraid to wear the hair that grows naturally from their heads because they fear rejection of a job or to be looked at as less then beautiful.

  15. I have used hair relaxers ever since high school i have always had nice thick hair i chose to use relaxers because it seemed to be less maintenance that i had to do to get the straight look I wanted but since im more educated on the damage it can cause to our bodies i want be using it any more
