Woman Says Her Ethnic Group Look Better In Braids Than Black Women

Reneilwe Morema reports on a TikTok video of a woman claiming Latina Women rock braids better than black women. It is no secret that the black culture is fascinating to the other ethnic groups, so much so that they try to replicate it, monetize from it or use it to stay relevant. It is sad that they use our culture, and discredit us in order to…

Black Women look beautiful in braids. Others wish they had our natural beauty ❤

Personally, I prefer black women with natural hair. For me, that's WAY better!

Women love to style their hair in ways that make them look beautiful ! 🧐If these braids made them look more beautiful, they would do them much more often than Black women. 🤪😮‍💨But that's not the case, because they know the braids don't suit them! Otherwise, with their (I.Q) intelligence, they would have invented these styles of braids themselves ! If it's really the case that it makes them so beautiful.🤔

Of course she said that…she's getting people to talk about her, right? Attention seeker. That's the only way she will get attention. LOL !!!!!!!

Other groups who choose to mimic or copy and paste our particular hair braiding and other styles, makes me curious about their motives. If you genuinely like to do this, fine give credit where it is due. Those like the one in this video had a motive to illustrate her jealousy and help put down black women. Why use the particular hair style that our people use on your head and disrespect the same type of woman you hate on? This makes 0 sense to me. Causing more chaotic division and hatred towards our people smh. Also, the gaslighting and other groups outside of our race excusing that their ancestors did braids too, and just did not originate from us as an excuse will not suffice either. We did not state it was every braid style from their cultures, but we spoke on the African styles, methods, and patterns that corelate to our hair, that is being done on their hair. Then again, they will gaslight that too. If people want to get these hairstyles understand the history and culture and determine if you genuinely embrace it, respect it, and like it. If not, then we all know why its being done in their motives of jealousy, copy cat-ing and trying to project our beauty on to themselves, as their own. One can be inspired to do as they want with their hair, but again its the motive and drive behind why its being done. This is an example for this clip that this woman is jealous of black women, and is a negative fire starter.

Some latinas are embarrassed being associated with being black, and this statement proves it, smh, so sad.

@spiritualphilosophy1707

What we can do with our hair they can't do. We can also braid our hair in more styles than they can because our hair can stand up as well as lay down. Their hair can only lay down, so why argue about nothing?

They got this audacity because we kept trying to be allies with them instead of minding our own and sticking to our own recognizing that there is no such thing as allying with other groups of people who benefit from WS. The more that black women try to find solidarity with other groups of people the more those same people will turn around and emulate black women and then insert themselves above us and try to claim ownership and superiority over our own culture. The audacity is because black women contrary to popular belief are TOO nice.

Her boyfriend left her for a black chick? That is why she is mad. Oh, I see. Apparently your boyfriend does not think you look better if he left you for a black girl. That is not to say he would not leave the black girl but what I am saying is I can see where her statement is coming from. A place of hurt. She needs healing.

Embrace your own beauty. The present standards of beauty is and has faded. Embrace the beauty culture of your tribe it’s healthier than assimilating into something or someone you will never be. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.🌸Love Yourself 🌸
