  1. Prof Wole Soyinka, you have prepared for your burial. But have you prepared for your eternity? Where do you go from here?

No. Everybody is not headed for the same "future" as you claim. You are not just body. You are spirit, soul abd body. Your body decays and turns to the soil after your spirt-soul depart from that body. It is that separation of spirit-soul from the body that is called death. Once the spirt-soul leave the body at death, you can't control where your spirit-soul goes.

You make a choice of where your spirit-soul will go by your choice of your relationship with Jesus Christ. Your conviction to the contrary does not change that fact.
You still have the chance to make that choice while you still have life in you.

When Jesus Christ was dying, there were two convicted armed robbers crucified with him – one on the right and the other on His left. One was moving Jesus. The one on the right rebuked his sin partner for such insolence. He asked Jesus to remember him in His kingdom.
Jesus did not say anything to the thief who was abusing Him. He didn't even condemn him. He knew the thief had chosen his path after death. Jesus only spoke with the thief on the right, "Today, thou shalt be with me in Paradise", and He died. That robber was on his way to Hell if he had died without Christ. But his confession and request to Jesus made Him to have eternal life.
The other thief didn't go to Hell just because he was a sinner. He went to Hell because he had a last opportunity of salvation but chose to die in his sins.
I plead with Prof Soyinka to use the opportunity he has to still be alive at 90 to think again about his relationship with Jesus Christ. His choice will determine his future after leaving the body.

I have read probably all your books and plays and poems as at 1986. I have explored your mind and intelligence through your literary. I appreciate your literary prowess. May God still give you good health to see more days (even though you say you don't believe in God).

    Happy birthday.

  2. To be blessed really is to attain an age such as 90, still with a straight back while walking in addition to making a lot of traveling both locally, nationally and internationally. Oh yes indeed, for a younger one, to not wish to be like you sir must definitely be a craziness. Bless your creator and am wishing you more pleasant days ahead in your life journey. Props sir!

  3. Soyinka and his wicked generation have spent ninety years on earth destroying Nigeria. His only achievement is birthing evil cults and fraternal groups in Nigerian universities and the entire country. He is an unrepentant toxic tribalist and a colossal failure as far as moral decency is concerned. Coward. Nothing about him should appeal to a patriotic and upright mind. Soyinka and his generation have frustrated the hope of Nigeria's younger generations. He has been deceitful all his life. He will not be missed when he's gone.

  4. Sir, how i wish you can give your life to Jesus Christ so you can make heaven. The reason why i said this was that, in one of your interview which i listened to, you said your into cult, pls before death come, you need to repent confess the sin of cultism and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour before death comes so you can make heaven and enjoy eternal rest.

  5. Mr Soyinka sits humbly….legs not crossed. The interviewer, much younger, sits cross legged. In our culture, the Ganda in Uganda, you could earn a thrash sitting like that in the presence of an elder!😂
