I do not like that the " glass is half full" is a rare example of Giannis just pushing threw it.
Plus calf strain is not really something you can just push threw. It's about how bad it is.
Finally do you risk it ? when I am not sure anyone really knows at this point what there chances are of making a title run. You hope they could just get by the first round without. This is one year that enough teams have shown they have good rosters and a first round maybe the hardest in yearsโฆโฆ..
good think it's not that bad. Also glad that it did not happen during the playoffs. At least now he has time to recover as much as possible and potentially not miss any playoff games.
It was a weird reaction to a calf sprain. He didnโt drag or try to stretch out. Just immediately fell to the floor. Weird
If I'm Giannis I ain't coming back this year. It's way too risky. I'll take the summer to get back to 100% and be ready for next season.
achilleas tendinitis and now a calf strain, the body is trying to say give me major rest before something tears โฆ..
They better pray they don't face the Heat in the first round.
These guys expecting a calf strain to recover in 11 days? Yeah not happening. Probably can play with pain killer if he wants to but i doubt soft nba players would play through injury unless itโs game 6 or 7 in final
Yโall made it seem like dude was In coma. Heโll be back in a week and a half
Iโd let dame carry through the first round. If he isnโt good enough to do it, then the trade was a bust and they werenโt gonna win it this year anyway.
Very happy he did not pop his achilles but those calf strains are a difficult beast to tame for athletes. If Giannis is back in less than 2-3 weeks I will be very surprised. That's a very very tricky injury because it's so easy to re-injure it.
Giannis and Westbrook are the only nba players I seen come back from major injuries like nothing happen
If I were Giannis, I wouldn't listen to any of these people. Just be smart
The Bucks wouldโve end their season if Giannis was seriously hurt
Lol this was a fake injury. Stupid rest protocol be damned. Only way to rest your stars now is to fake injuries. He will be back in time.
This injury is all on Giannis and if you need me to educate you on this injury I will because Bucks fans will have you believe Giannis does no wrong โฆ.
Thank GOD he is okay
Bad news for Doc the Choke Rivers as he will run out of excuses once they lose in the first round of playoffs
Good to know Giannis is okay
Glad it wasn't that bad
I've had a similar calf strain doing the same thing on the basketball court and it will take awhile to heal. It's going to be hard to walk for a couple of weeks.
Strangely enough, it looked like that leg was affecting him all game before that; plenty of times he got pushed to the floor, he layed there for a bit and got up slowly
