You Can't have Everything in life,
Choose Something.
You're in Ghana already if you do go back to America, will you then miss Ghana again even though it's not the Standard of America. ?
And will you regret because of Safety and Security reasons which are also important factors. Choose one and let's tell You Goodbye or Akwaaba, once again
TONY AND AYO, DO YOU WANT TO RAISE YOUR CHILDREN IN A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY, THAT WILL ALWAYS BE A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY? YOU WILL NEVER BE TREATED AS A REAL GHANA CITIZEN, BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT, NOR WILL YOU EVER BE,. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE LOOKED ON AS AN AMERICAN. YOU ARE DOING YOUR CHILDREN AN INJUSTICE, THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF ILLEGAL MIGRANTS FROM GHANA, HERE IN AMERICA, THERE LIFE IS SO MUCH BETTER HERE, THAN IN GHANA. GHANA IS A BACKWARD COUNTRY, ALWAYS WILL BE, YOUR CHILDREN AND YOU DESERVE BETTER. RUSSELL BOYD, KEY WEST FLORIDA.
I am coming to Ghana in May on a medical mission. I remember on past recording you mentioned you have a travel agency for tourist coming to Ghana . We will be in the Mpraeso area but we will have a free weekend to come Accra. Whatâs the website of your agency? We will need help finding transportation and a NICE hotel.
Tony definitely wants to stay in West Africa, no doubt.
Iâm almost certain Tony would fall into a depression if he had to come back to the States, permanently.
Itâs a shame that you didnât expose your children to the Ghanaian real school experience by sending them to some of the best public schools in Ghana. That would have been something they would have appreciated for life.
There are many many kids from Ghana schools that goes to college in America and do very well.
America is changing you all and wait until next year to have this conversation. Don't put them in boarding school, you don't know those people. Love youđ
Have you look into East Africa like Kenya đ°đĒ
"Slave castle" sounds like an oxymoron that sanitizes the dastardly deeds that occurred there. Dungeons of the enslaved would be more accurate. Also, Monuments of oppression, Fortress of enslavement or Strongholds of slavery would be a better depiction.
I would love to be there for the 90's thro back
shell toe addidas and Kangols
They can still school in Ghana to the University level and then go and do thier masters in the U.S. My African American friend did that for her two boys and it worked perfectly for her.
đŽ Is there any preminition/sense/notion of Ghana not being as diaspora friendly after Akufo-Addo leaves office?
God bless your journey and decisionâ¤ī¸
I thought you're moving to Kenya đ đ đ
You guys are solid. You can't control all the external circumstances. You are a blessing. Thanks always for sharing your experiences. Love the journey!
Greetings Expat Life Ghana, âAyo and Tonyâ! One thing is for sure, you both have quite a conundrum in the decision-making process ahead. You both have an array of options in your personal as well as business endeavors.
I am highly concerned about the geopolitical and economic situation there in Ghana. However, I am aware of the immense possibilities there on the continent of Alkebulan, AKA Africa being that the new scramble for Africa is well underway with China and their awful human rights record leading the way. I do like the fact that China doesnât give Africa lectures, but rather, new infrastructure, architecture, and loan forgiveness.
African Americans as well as other Black Africans in the diaspora need to get in on the entrepreneur possibilities there on the continent by polling their financial resources and mindset in order to establish a manufacturing base using the massive resource base on the continent . Thank you so much for sharing and all the best in your decision.
Very informative as always. Thanks â¤
Yes the private school in us is much cheaper
Iâm lucky I have a great pension
Tony Iâm happy to see you are being honest about the struggle of Ghana and family. I have the property in Aburi. That Iâm building itâs no real opportunity to make the kind of money we make in the us. And the culture donât want to modernize. Iâm now divorced from my Ghana wife and is still finishing the project. Please let the older boy enjoy the us
You Are Who Your Father IsâĻ. Ayo is Ghanaian or Asanti Tribal.
Tony the man in Ghana. He ainât going no where âŖī¸
Exactly what is American experience??? The school in America has changed so much, the government running the schools, making kids change their gender, where do the parents come in to be a parent
Donât separate your children, your older son have a better life in school than American, think about all the worries of him being shot, or being at a wrong place at a wrong time, the discrimination he have to go through, also remember he is a black man
After a month in Ghana, I would not recommend this place for westerners with an adventurous lifestyle. Nor would I recommend Ghana for Americans with children, especially teenagers. The culture is very different and can be offensive to westerners. Poor infrastructure, Americans are walking banks to the people in Ghana. Most if not all encounters is about money. American children with a 55â tv and gaming console will not relate to the average Ghanaian child. If Americans coming here because of skin color will learn fast about human behavior. Itâs tribalism here.
You guys need to purchase the Tesla mobile Star link internet.
WHATEVER U DECIDE GOD WILL HELP YOU
Having experienced Ghana and its freedom, its hard to leave and I can only imagine how tough it would be to go to the US with all that happens there.
I DO LOVE YOU U AL
I know 100% my teenager would not leave America. While Ghana is lovely, it's certainly very different.
Leaving ghana? Bye bye
NO splitting this family up!! For anything!! đđž
Just got back from Ghana. Was there for 2 weeks. Got to meet up with a few YouTubers but sadly, will have to meet Tony and Ayo next time I visit. Had a great time.
Taking your Black sons back to a place that doesn't respect and/or treat them as a human? They will never truly be recognized as a MAN. There are other African countries to try. I'm from the States living in Africa. Had enough of worrying about my Black sons being harassed by the "law", and being discriminated against in education, employment etc. I could write a book about raising Black sons in the US. My son's are law abiding respectful and are not criminals. It didn't matter, they only saw their color. Being in Africa, I no longer worry if my son will make it home safely. Peace and Blessings.
I think a typical African family may be able to do the split (with all things considered for the advancement of the whole family in the long run) without any breakups, better than a typical American one. Just my observation.
Your kids will lack critical thinking skills and be slow minded if they school in Ghana. Ghana doesnât teach kids to use their brain. Everything is theory.
But definitely wish you all the best
. I truly appreciate your channel â¤
I truly understand the feelings of the boys..But ultimately the parents know best. I mean let's be honest, America is on the decline in the way of living ,culture, and moral values of family. Not to mention having to worry about the safety of our young Black men.. Team Ghana đŦđ
The sons are safer in Ghana. There were 5 black men hanged in America recently. One was 16 years old. Not much media attention đĸ.
My people, why not bring your mom to Ghana?
The US Dollar will collapse due to the Brics, yâall should be little patient.. Anyone out there should start trade in their dollar into cedis while itâs very high rate and invest in crypto also. You wonât regret.
