  1. If you reported the news you would have a great channel. But like most of your kind you are full of Western lies and propaganda. If the Russian election are .rigged and the opposition can see the light of day. What about Trump in the USA, AFD in Germany, the silencing of Julian Assange, no elections in Ukraine and I can go on and on and on.

  2. It's Georgia's fault for committing atrocities against the people of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Russia is the only guarantor of the two territories' safety in light of that.

  3. Framing the authoritarian plebiscite in Russia as, "Putin winning an election" is not the most responsible headline writing. Although it's good that you go on to clarify that it was "not free or fair," the initial presentation of a story really matters, and your initial presentation plays right into Kremlin propaganda. It would be much better to lead with something that more along the lines of, "Vladimir Putin has claimed to have won 87% of the votes after a plebiscite in Russia," thus casting doubt on the Kremlin narrative right out of the gate.

  4. Two region of Georgia: Abkhasia and Osetia are occupaid by Russia, and they don't have a free will to chose where to stay. They are main victims of Russia with extreme poverty and crime under occupation; Wile on another side Georgia is developing faster, have visa liberation and will join EU soon!

  5. everyone can google georgias old maps and also search when was name ,,south ossetia" was made, so you understand simply, plus that search who are ossetians, they are not native to caucasus.

  6. To explain the situation. "South Ossetia" never existed in nature, Ossetians did live in so-called South Ossetia since the middle 1800s, but there were not more than a few thousand people, it happened at the end of the 1800s when Russia resettled many Ossetians to Georgia and later Lenin and Stalin created "South Ossetian" autonomy, in reality South Ossetia cuts through 4 Georgian regions and the mainland is located in the literal center of Georgia, a region that is called Inner Kartli. There were more Georgians kicked out of that region than there were Ossetians in total.

Stalin used new autonomy and Ossetians, in general, to have Georgians in check and to always have influence over Georgian nationalism, as soon as Georgians would want independence he would warn Georgia that war would break out in "South Ossetia", this was done in 1920 by Lenin when he gave weapons to North Ossetians and moved them to the south to start a rebellion, during this time Georgia was independent, and even Lenin himself recognized this independence as per Treaty of Moscow that was signed on May 7th of 1920.

Later, as soon as Georgia announced independence in 1991 Russia increased tensions, supported Ossetians, and started a rebellion and eventual war, it became a frozen conflict for 2 decades before 2008. In 2004 after Soviet leaders in Georgia completely lost their power and oligarchy and businesses, Georgia quickly cut ties with Russia, got much closer with Europe and the USA, and eventually talks about NATO and the EU began around 2006-2007, this time Russia issued embargoes on Georgia, they detonated gas pipes leaving Georgia without gas during 2006-2007 winter, in 2007 Russia deported many Georgians with cargo planes, in April of 2008 there was a very important NATO summit in Bucharest where France and Germany refused membership for Georgia, this gave final green light to Russia, this video mentions that Georgia started advancements or tried to retake the region, this only happened after months of constant shootings toward Georgian villages by Ossetians and Russians, it culminated in August when the US warned Georgia that massive Russian army was moving towards Georgia, officially Georgia started firing as soon as Russian army crossed Georgian border. Nobody believed Georgia, Talyavin's report even said that it was Georgia who started the war giving pro-Russians and an ocean of Russian bots mechanisms to always use not only against Georgia, but now against Ukraine, ultimately this one green light gave Russia another green light to attack and annex Crimea in 2014, and attack Ukraine in 2022.

I would still be surprised if Russia actually agrees to this "unification", because Russia is completely fine with the current situation, they don't need to anger Georgians and they don't need extra influence or warnings for Georgia as they have a very friendly government in Georgia. But, at different times Ossetians tried to join Russia, even during Stalin's time this offer was declined, even in the 1990s and 2000s and multiple times during 2010s, the last time was a few years ago and now again.

  7. That's not how you pronounce Ossetia πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Com'on guys, you cannot bring the news and live under a rock at the same time πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Think about the words international, spatial, etc…

  8. Then by all means I hate that it’ll drastically change the US counterterrorism strategy but I believe the US shouldn’t waste our resources on the Niger junta. I believe we should withdraw and let them deal w/ the insurgents on their own.

  9. If someone breaks away from Georgia, then it's fine apparently but if someone breaks away from Russia, they go to war with them. Nice hypocrisy Russia

  10. I swear to christ, junta is a Spanish word so please a German trying to say June, you probably use it over once a month and still mispronounce it. Every. Time.

  11. I'm Georgian and I find this analysis very poor. Everyone is playing a Russian game that calls this region 'South Ossetia'(Including some Georgians). This region was called 'Samachablo', The Fact that the Ossetian population increased in this region over the last centuries doesn't make it a South Ossetia. If you are a little bit familiar with Geography you might know that Georgia is bordered by a Caucasian maintains, which is practically impossible to cross without modern transportation. So there will be no Re-Unification of Ossetia as 'Samachablo' was never part of it. We never discriminated against Ossetians living in that region, In fact, there are a lot of mixed Georgian-Ossetian families, but all that time when we thought that we could live together Russians were planning it differently.

  12. There is no better time than now to distribute fairness and equality to all nations , if we lose this opportunity then future generations will struggle harder than ever, this idiot security council members wont let anyone do anything

  13. EGYPT LEADERS ALL THESE YEARS IN BED WITH ISRAEL.
PALESTINIAN NATION RIGHT TO BE WAS ONLY AIR TALKED.
TODAY EGYPT LAND , ISRAEL WAR END RESULT TAKE YOUR COUNTRY AWAY WITH OTHERS.
MIDDLE EAST JOKER LEADERS ARE RUNNING STILL TO THE WHITE HOUSE FOR ADVISED.
HOW SICK ARE THEY AGAINST EACH OTHER'S.

  14. South Ossetia has one big issue: that is that it is linked with just one tunnel to the rest of Russia. Give Georgia some decent air support and they can just blow up that tunnel and as long as they can deny the airspace to Russia, they are just sitting ducks there with no real reinforcement possible. It is way worse than their situation in Kherson, where it was significantly easier to get reinforcements in and it was still hopeless. The only advantage Russia has, is that the population is very pro Russia and extremely poor. So I doubt Georgia is super keen on getting them into the country.
