  1. Tylas music promotes promiscuity, like all hyper sexualised songs she was bound to win, besides that she is talented and she took the advantage of sex sells market. My problem with her music its listened by babies.

  2. Grammy added a whole new catagory for her..when it never existed before! Thats weird… On the other hand, "butter"by bts didnt won any grammy despite being one of the most streamed.song too and giving splendid performance… They derserved it in their catagory too, more than anything else..its just that they dont have sexual stuff in their music and they from south korea.or so.. She is also from south africa..if she can win, doing art within her culture,, sing a song about orgasm, i have nothing to say..she is ofcourse talented, not sure of grammy… I think day by day grammy became very shady..

  3. Of course you will take this from a consumer approach I don’t blame you. Tyla is 💯 an industry plant and it’s not necessarily a bad thing, the problem is denying that fact when tons of extremely innovative independent musicians barely get the marketing budget & team she has. Please let’s be objective in our analysis of music

  4. As an African I now realize why Tyla is going big. We are AFRICANS, look at the pyramids of Egypt that is a prime example of our abilities and gifts as Africans.

This was a sign from God for us Africans to rise up and see the potential we have in us. God bless Tyla and thank you to God for us Africans how powerful we are 🥰

  5. I'll tell you one thing you don't have to plant anybody when they're truly talented most plants really don't have a lot of talent they're just gimmicky and they probably have a look that people flock to and follow after and people don't mind following trends or things that they like but then you take a pure talent and they want to dissect that and pick that apart her album is solid she is talented and she is different..of course people are going to want to say that she is not deserving or authentic But she is I just think she needs to be protected because the industry loves selling people what they are already own and if you are not wise enough or solid enough you'll fall victim to it.i pray for her protection.

  6. Tyla won a GRAMMY in a Category that was specifically made for AFRICANS and out of the 5 songs NOMINATED her song was the most outstanding and impactful in the year 2023

  7. This is getting tiring to say now. First of all Tyla won a Grammy in her own genre which is AFRICAN MUSIC!! I've never heard of Nicki Minaj or Miley Cyrus or whoever make African music. Secondly, all these big superstars who have never won a Grammy keep losing under their own American categories, not African categories. And the category was only just introduced now people, so why is she at fault for winning a Grammy for African music? So what you guys are saying is that small time music creators can never be relevant enough to win a Grammy just because they blew up out of "nowhere"? We have advanced technology guys, so obviously her song is gonna blow up. And last time I checked, in order to get nominated for a Grammy you actually have to have a flipping song, so what does the song being "TikTok" famous have to do with it not being worthy to be nominated? So you're all telling me if I made a song right now and it got famous through TikTok I wouldn't be worthy of being nominated for a Grammy? This disgusts me. This type of energy will lead to many kids with big dreams to lose hope, all because of jealousy and hate. That's not what god created us for. So please stop.

  8. Facts hun. I mean lets be honest, you have people like Nicki Minaj who have NEVER won a grammy (AND THE WOMAN IS THE QUEEN OF RAP THAT'S STILL MAKING HISTORY AND BREAKING RECORDS) but out of nowhere you have a beautiful chica that shows up with one song and then BOOM! She wins a grammy?! The majority of the people have never heard about Tyla and if I'm being honest the song "Water" doesn't make sense to me (I know i might get hated on but it's the truth)

  9. I like her a lot and believe in her music and talent; but the Grammy was not deserved she does not have the catalog to support a world tour. I am EXTREMELY nervous for her. I am extremely disappointed in her fans for not seeing the warning signs. It their willingness to ignore what we’ve learned in the recent months about what this industry does to young beautiful girls. My prayers are with her.

  10. The reason why people are saying she does not deserve the Grammy is because some people don’t care about knowing what category she won in. This year was the first year that the Grammys added a category called best afrobeats performance or African music performance and Water was nominated and it also won. The production and vocals in the song was great enough to win in that category. Tyla was lucky that water came out in 2023 and not in 2022 because if it came out in 2022 or before, it wouldn’t have been nominated for a Grammy because at that time there was no category called best African something or whatever
